I'm a dedicated teacher and spend extra time outside of lessons thinking about how to best approach the following lesson. I find the style of teaching that works best for the student. I write plans after lessons and email or give them in person summarizing the lesson's key points to help make practicing at home easier and more organized in order to make lesson time as effective overall as possible.
About Fedor
I'm a rising Junior at The Juilliard School. I started playing when five and a half. I attended the Juilliard Pre-College program for two last years of high school before attending Juilliard on the college level. In August of 2013, I became the youngest semi-finalist in the Schoenfeld International

An experienced and versatile musician with a passion for building technique and finding students' unique artistic voice.
Students of mine study standard concertos, Bach, Suzuki materials, and scales. They also work on fiddle and jazz tunes, improvisation, and pop songs. The most important thing is to find what lights a spark in each student!
About Zachary
I am a violinist and violist with experience performing and studying all over the world. I am a trained classical musician, but I also have a passion for improvisation, hip hop, pop, jazz, and fiddle music! My strengths lie in building students' technical foundation while helping them find their ar

I have played violin for over 30 years and in my professional career I have been on tour in a Peruvian folk band, played electric violin in a rock band, and been in orchestras and string quartets as a classical violinist and violist for weddings and special events. My specialty is working with beginners to develop both a strong technical foundation and a love of the instrument and the diverse and surprising genres the violin offers. I love working with small children. I advise to wait until the child has developed a sense of rhythm and pitch in singing, and displays a desire to focus and practice on their own. A great indicator is if they can sit down and pay attention to a book. My youngest violin student was 3 and my oldest 64! Can't wait to work together.
About Arjana
I can't wait to work together. If you are here it means you want to be on a path to improving something in yourself. That is awesome. There is nothing I like better than coaching, tweaking, helping guide you on your path. You do the work, I guide you through with experience, tips and tricks and fun

Positivity and encouragement are the cornerstones of my teaching style! All ages are welcome. Starting with technique and posture, lessons are then customized to include music theory, music history, ear training, and sight reading. I also teach how to effectively practice on your own, so you grow every time you pick up your violin. I can't wait to share my passion for music!
About Alison
I learned to play violin when I was 10 and music remains my greatest passion to this day. I also sing and have performed with several bands, but there's nothing like being part of a full symphony orchestra like I was in school. I started teaching violin to my 9 year old niece in 2020 and I am excit

Want to learn bluegrass, old-time, or Irish fiddling? With 18 years playing fiddle and 10 years teaching, I have the experience to help a beginner gain basic skills or an advanced student analyze bowing patterns, moving double stops, and more. From the student who is picking up the fiddle for the first time to the fiddler who’s been playing their whole life, I hope to inspire a love for traditional fiddle music and culture.
About Cody
I was first inspired to play the fiddle by my grandfather, Tom Smith. Many of my cousins started learning traditional instruments around the same time and we had a lot of fun jamming at family gatherings and at music festivals in our home state of Indiana. In 2015 I was proud to carry the family tr

Zhana combines very well the two elements that are essential for a good teacher in any field: strictness and high expectations on the one hand coupled with kindness and encouragement on the other. I have only had six weeks of lessons with her so far, but I have already learned a lot and can compare her favorably with other instructors."
