I've been teaching violin and viola professionally for over 12 years now and am always encouraging my students to go above and beyond. My experience includes teaching private and group lessons at my private studio, students' homes, as well as at various music schools, summer camps and festivals. Advanced students have been awarded spots in All-State competitions, summer festivals and talent scholarships for college as well as admission at highly competitive Conservatories.
I strive to make lessons engaging, fun, comprehensive and make sure to focus on proficiency, musicality, technique and music theory. Lessons are custom tailored depending on your age and level!

I have been teaching violin for seven years. Though I am classically trained, my interest in music goes far beyond classical music. I am constantly listening to various genres of music and consider myself a forever learner, loving everything in music from Prokofiev to the Flaming Lips. It is my job to help guide my students through their musical journeys, whether that is helping them get into their regional orchestra or teaching them that one song they've always wanted to learn. I teach out of the Essential Elements and Suzuki Method books. Though my lessons are fun and relaxed I will always give my students that extra push when needed. My goal is to help each student reach their personal success and to instill a love for playing music.

I am a member of Certificate of Merit so students can take cm on their choice, am also doing symf during summer. I usually held recital minimum 1-2 a year so students will get a chance to perform.
I use suzuki method for most students but also open to teach whatever students interested in.
My students are from 5 years old to an adult. I have also taught at a elementary and highschool before.

I am offering violin lessons, both online and at students' places! Whether you have no music experience at all or have some violin experience, I can help you improve technique and musicality by working on exercises and various pieces of music. Not only do I draw from my experience studying music and taking private lessons since childhood, but I also tailor my lessons to meet each student’s individual learning style and interests.

I have been teaching for over 22 years. I also performed solo recitals, chamber music concerts, and orchestras nationally and internationally for over 22 years. I have performed with Fort Wayne Philharmonic, Illinois Symphony Orchestra, Rockford Symphony, Civic Orchestra of Chicago, Hong Kong Philharmonic, China National Symphony Orchestra and more. I approach each student as a unique and promising artist. I help them set individual goals, then plan and prepare lesson materials tailored for what he or she intends to achieve. I encourage them to work hard, dream big, and enjoy the rewards of learning and performing music.
