Private Cello Teacher

have been playing the Cello for about 9 years. I began in my home country of Chile when I was in the 2nd grade. My father is a composer and renown musician so music has been a part of my life since day one. I recently began a music career as an artist, as a result I now have music on iTunes, Google Play, Spotify, Pandora, Amazon and other music stores. I began teaching about 7 years ago.

I pride myself in making my students succeed, I’ve had students start taking lessons with me starting in the lowest orchestra and after some months they are in the top orchestra and in a couple of occasions they were also first chair. I love children and I also like getting the best out of people, I’ve had student much older than me and they, to this day, still thank me for helping them reach their goals.

Luther stays where I’m at and then helps me go the next step. That is useful for consistent gradual progress without the frustrations of moving either too slow or too fast (I am a beginning tenor saxophone player). Nice interpersonal style, patient and easy going, while methodical.

I think Luther is great. He works with my 10-year old son on piano, singing and even trumpet and violin as needed. My son has to work hard to progress, and Luther customizes the lesson plan for him and seems to understand him well. I'm really excited about them working together.
