I teach children starting at 7 years old, all the way to adults. I teach each player proper playing technique that can be used for classical playing, fiddle-playing and pop music. I also teach music theory and sheet reading alongside violin technique. I tailor each lesson to the students wants and needs.

I have been playing violin for 20 years and have been trained in classical and Fiddle style playing. I also have a full knowledge of Music Theory and how to read sheet music. I believe that learning should be fun and rewarding.

Hello there! My name is Lauren, and I have over a decade of experience teaching violin. I earned my BM and MM degrees from Eastman School of Music in Violin Performance and perform regularly at venues such as Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, and the Kennedy Center.

As a teacher, I adapt my teaching methods on-the-spot to introduce and reinforce concepts in a patient, enthusiastic, and creative manner tailored to each student. In addition to equipping my students with proper violin technique, students are empowered and develop their communication skills and confidence while fostering a lasting curiosity for learning and a genuine love for the imaginative and expressive capabilities of music.

I have been playing violin for 5 years ( viola for 14 years), and I specialize in all experience levels of students. I am highly trained in music theory, technique, and improvisation, and whether you want to learn basic string technique, play a Bach sonata, or learn how to improvise in a complex tune, I can help! I am very open to any ideas and desires my students have, and I strive to make learning music both fun and rewarding for the student. I teach using the Suzuki method, rhythmic training, pop music songs, and various supplementary technique books to enhance and round out the learning experience of each of my students. I also have an open schedule to cater to your time constraints, so let’s get started!

we are going to practice some basics technic like scales technical exercise, we should know a lot of famous music too, music from Bach Beethoven Mozart Tchaikovsky, and popular music, dance music or world music.
if the student need take audition for orchestra or going to a compotation we will work on the repertoire too.

Damien G. received his Bachelor’s degree in Clarinet Performance from Loyola University New Orleans, his Master’s Degree from the University of North Texas, and is currently working on his DMA at the University of North Texas. As an undergrad at Loyola University, Damien toured as a clarinet soloist with the Loyola Chamber Orchestra in Yugoslavia, Hungary, and Vienna. He has been a member of the UNT Wind Symphony , under Eugene Corporan, and the UNT Orchestra, led by Anshel Brusilow. More recently, he has performed at two UNT concerto concerts as a soloist with the UNT chamber orchestra. Damien also has performed with the Contemporary Theater of Dallas along with other freelance activities in the DFW area. His teachers include: Mr. A. Crisanti,Dr. James Gillespie, Dr. John Scott, Steve Cohen, Daryl Coad, and John Reeks.
