BEST TEACHER EVER! Seeri started our son with violin when he was 8 and a half. He has been thriving since and got into a great orchestra less than a year after beginning violin (another orchestra than his school's)! Seeri is an incredible blend of an exquisite person and a superbly focused and intense teacher. She is a natural with children (and my son is hard to lead): kind yet firm, playful at times but always keeping the child on the track of the present learning and practice. She also teaches everything, music reading and theory included. A pure gem.

I am a firm believer that anyone can learn how to play an instrument and enjoy doing so. Although my teaching style is grounded in establishing a foundation of strong technique, I am also well aware that not every student is going to enjoy or want to play classical music, and that's okay! My goal is to help my students establish a relationship with their instrument and music in general, so they are able to grow and develop in the direction they want.

Our daughter was starting violin for school in the Fall of 2019.. Of the available teachers who were doing lessons in school, we took a chance and ended up choosing Brittany based on the very little information that we received at the time. We have been so happy that we did - it has been a wonderful experience and relationship for our daughter. Brittany was patient and kind with her as she learned in those early days. I recall one day our daughter had a rough day, and mentioned it in her lesson - Brittany took that extra step of emailing us to let us know what they had talked about. It was nothing major in the end, but very much appreciated that she was looking out for our daughter!
Obviously, lessons changed to remote only in March 2020, but Brittany was still effective despite the lack of in person attention. We can hear how far our daughter has progressed on the violin in the last year, and Brittany’s patience and passion for music come through in how she cares for her students and their progress. There are of course days she doesn’t necessary feel like doing her lesson, but every single time that she goes into it feeling that way, she has come out of the meeting with a big smile on her face.
If our son decides to learn violin or viola when he goes into middle school next year, it won’t be a question about who we will ask to help on his journey, and Brittany will have another student.

Brittany is a great Viola teacher always motivating my 10 year old to do well. She is very thorough and organizes the materials according to the student's skill level. She fixes all the flaws without discouraging the students. She works very patiently with my 10 year old boy and has been very encouraging for the past 2 years. We love to have Brittany as our Viola teacher :)

"I am an adult learner, I started with a different instructor but I was frustrated with a number of things. I contacted Tania with my frustrations and then started lessons. She has been a joy to work with. Her first question to me was what my goals were. I really appreciated this, because I am an adult who has carved out 30-60 minutes each day to practice. So I definitely have goals. The overall goal of improving is nicely balanced with pieces and styles that I find interesting and enjoyable. My previous teacher was not very attentive to body mechanics and so I was hitting a wall both in terms of ability and comfort. I mentioned to him my back was hurting and he thought I was making conversation rather than asking for help. I didn't even need to tell Tania my back was hurting after practicing, because she starting suggesting tweaks to my mechanics after watching me play for just a few minutes. Playing immediately became more comfortable and enjoyable. Tania understands that playing violin is parts listening, mechanics, theory and playing. When I'm having trouble with one we will discuss parts of the others and a first it didn't seem related then suddenly I see a convection between the different parts and the connection makes my playing better. I would absolutely recommend Tania. She has a deep understanding of the topic and makes learning violin funner and easier. Scheduling has always been easy."

"Alethia is an excellent instructor. She taught our son Suzuki book 2 and they are now starting book 3. In my opinion she blends a perfect balance between actual playing, violin technique, and music theory. Lessons begin with both of them playing and then she has him play solo. Any issues he has are handled with positive encouragement and relatable exercises. Lessons also include a suitable amount of music theory so our son understands what he is playing and how music is written. Alethia's approach and attitude are fantastic; I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a violin instructor."

"Danielle was a very intuitive teacher- she listened to my goals, and helped provide me with a clear path toward them, conquering some of the basics, scales, pentatonic, and such... but also some of the more advanced nuances like harmonics and vibrato. If you are trying to learn violin or fiddle, I'd recommend Danielle."
