I've been playing guitar for about 10 years and have a lot of experience playing in metal bands, jazz bands and alternative bands. In addition I have access to both electric and acoustic guitars, and have a great home studio perfect for practicing. Whether you are just getting started, or want to learn advanced guitar techniques/soloing, I can help get you there with my knowledge, experience, and insights.

If you're an adult finally getting around to learning your dream instrument or a child following your passion of playing music I tailor your lessons specifically to you. We look at what you want to play, pick specific songs that you want to learn, and learn the techniques you need to play these songs. It sounds simple, but it's so effective and much more fun to learn this way!

I have been teaching Guitar since 2012 in a wide variety of settings, styles, and age groups. It is never too early or late to begin leaning guitar!

I tailor my teaching approach for the specific needs and goals of each student, always putting their priorities first. While I am versed in theoretical approaches and using method books like the Hal Leonard series, I am also fluent in working on contemporary music with a focus on ear training and improvisation.

I've been teaching guitar for the past thirteen years, and I've worked with all kinds of students. From children, to teenagers, to adults, everyone who I've had the pleasure to sit down with has told me what they want to get out of the guitar, and I've made it my responsibility to help them reach their goal. Within the first few lessons, every student develops a new perspective, and approaches the guitar with the clarity and confidence to grow as a musician at a pace comfortable for them.

I specialize in rock, punk, metal, progressive, pop, and blues, and have cultivated my own curriculum which is personalized to each student.

Here are the tools available to use during lessons: Ovation Celebrity, Gibson SG Standard, Schechter Diamond Series, Marshall AVT50, Digitech RP500 effects pedal, and Logic Pro X.
