I have been playing guitar since I was 14, and have been performing and teaching for over 20 years.
I studied jazz guitar, composition, and theory at the Mannes Conservatory in NYC, NY., and also with several private teachers.
I teach many styles, including rock, pop, blues, folk, and jazz.
(I do NOT play classical or flamenco.)
I tailor my lessons to meet the interests and learning styles of my students. I teach playing by ear, music reading, tablature, and theory. I enjoy teaching students of all ages - children, teens, and adults.
I make lessons fun for young children, by including some musical games and activities. With teens and adults, I have the students choose the songs and styles they wish to work on, and go from there.

About Linda

I have been teaching music (guitar, bass guitar, keyboard, banjo, mandolin, ukulele, recorder, music theory, and classes for toddlers, preschoolers, school-aged children, and adults) for over 20 years. I am also a band/show director at the School of Rock! In addition to teaching music, I also tut

Getting older and noticing a change in my vocal patterns was causing me some concern. Francesca not only listened to me about my concerns but she talked me through the physicality of how my vocal chords worked and how I can best sing in a way that does no damage but gets maximum range, power and tone. I have never taken vocal lessons before so this was such amazing information to have and to put into practice. When you know better, you do better. I can't recommend BugByte Studios enough! Thanks sister!

"Before the lesson today I was having anxiety and performance issues, and Tim really encouraged me and cut right through the problem. He knew exactly how to handle it without making me feel inferior and giving me the confidence to overcome it. Tim is very casual and at the same time professional bringing you to a place of relaxation and enjoying the journey, not just the destination. I have been playing for many years but still learning the basics that I never learned, and although it could be frustrating to go back, he has made it rewarding and simple."

"Could not be any happier!

Although I thought after years of picking and grinning, I knew what I was doing. Man was I wrong! Ben is taking me back to basics that will strengthen my approach to the music. His laid back style of teaching is just what I needed after years of not picking up my treasured Guild. He recognizes how tedious I find practice, but shows me how it will all work to my advantage in the long haul. Having a great time and will continue to work with Ben as long as it takes. If you need help he is the Man!"
