Our favorite performers have more than just the ability to perform notes though they connect with the work they are presenting and the audience they are presenting it to. I've been performing for over 25 years and would love to help you with your performance technique. We'll work on stance, delivery, emotional connection, and creative visualization to help you deliver your best possible performance. I also specialize in helping one overcome stage fright / performance anxiety. I love taking students and providing them with performance opportunities, whether it be for local open mic nights, auditions, or for fellow studio members. My ultimate goal is to have my students perform so that our work comes to fruition. Once we get to the point of performing we will rehearse with an accompanist and practice the techniques used for performing in whatever venue it might be.

Suzan is thoroughly knowledgable about music theory and composition and movement. Her piano skills are excellent especially when seen in the arena of jazz improve composition on the fly with a group of professionals. She can sight read complicated charts and sing beautifully at the same time, for songs she has never done, and these are the challenges that true musicians thrive upon.
As a TL teacher of children also, I can see that Suzan is very family friendly and cheerful, kind and helpful. All good signs of an excellent teacher! Your Kids will love her.
Way to go, Suzan, and keep up the great work!"

Since then, I've had the pleasure of performing in SDSU ensembles with Jordan. I mean it when I say it: Jordan is not only one of the best music teachers in San Diego, but he is also one of the best trombone players I've ever had the pleasure of knowing."
