Hayden is a great instructor very professional, dedicated, a truly pro in his craft. He is a versatile musician with an extensive, proven background in all sort of styles that definitely will help anyone interested in learning, advancing, and perfecting the skills required to play the trombone to reach their goals, no matter what level your are at the moment.
Let’s be real, if you really want to master or at least play decently well any instrument (the trombone in this case with all its technical challenges) you need a mentor and here we are lucky to have a young, professional, smart musician, with a strong, solid academic formation and a life dedicated to music, specialized in trombone to our entire disposition.
If you are trying to find an instructor to help you out with your musicianship, stop looking because you have already found him. I am sure that you, as I have, will exponentially progress with his help. Thank you Hayden.

Hayden has been teaching private Trombone lessons to my 13th year old son for over a year now. Hayden is organized and reliable; he is always on time, and has helped my son sound great. Hayden is passionate about Jazz, and knowledgeable. My son enjoys having a teacher that is as passionate as he is, and younger that the usual Trombone teachers we have found. :-)
Hayden has prepared my son for All State competitions, and for many concerts with his school and/or the jazz band my son performs outside of school. I recommend Hayden 100%!!!
Tracy

I excel extremely well at Music Theory. Ranging from the very basics to advanced level writing and understanding. without the knowledge of music theory you wouldn't be able to understand how to manipulate music to the you want it to sound like.

Eric Ferrer teaching style is very clear/simple/ and intuitive. He really shows you there’s simplicity in learning anything. I thought the piano was a stride i always wanted to take on. Yet with Eric the process in learning how to use both hands was so simple that I was very surprised.

I recently bought a drum set to starting how to play but coming from no experience I had no idea what I was doing. I felt sloppy and uncoordinated so I decided to try and find a teacher that can meet my schedule/expectations. That is when I stumbled upon Eric Ferrer’s profile. The lessons were soooooo Simplistic 😌 he really gave me peace of mind. Eric Broke the process into its barebones and revealed how simple it is to learn drums. I love my new teacher, he has the best patience, attitude, and commitment to you the student and the lesson.

"David is awesome! I began lessons with him because i was not satisfied with the music theory classes at the school i am enrolled in, as well as the classes did not accommodate well to my learning differences. David not only has endless knowledge of music theory but also has shown me tools and helpful methods for studying music. I highly recommend taking lessons from David if you are either a beginner or you are at a higher level and would like to expand your knowledge of music theory."

"David is not only a delightful person, he's also an excellent piano teacher. I'm a piano teacher myself yet I needed some help with improvisation--my weakest link. He patiently walked me through adding chords and harmony to a melody. I learned a lot of new ideas, such as leaving out the emotive third interval...that's better utilized in the right hand. He demonstrated how to take a familiar classical piece, namely Mozart's Rondo Alla Turca, and play it completely by ear. His musicianship is lovely and he is patient and thorough in his explanations. His knowledge of music theory is complete and sound. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to start or continue music lessons. He is truly passionate about music and his profession."

Music Student Face-Off: Memorizers vs. Readers | Which is Better?

As you learn songs and work through your music books, do you memorize the notes? Or do you read along every time you play? In this post, music teacher Vanessa G. discusses the pros and cons to the approaches...   Imagine your teacher gives you a piece of music to study. What's your process? Do you listen to a recording, memorizing the melody and the stylistic aspects before you begin, and then as you play? Or would you sit down and sight read the notes, and perfect it from that star …
