Whether you are a complete beginner or a more advanced student looking to improve your skills and musicality, I can help you wherever you're at! I have been teaching violin since 2008 and have both my bachelor's and master's degrees in violin performance. I stress a strong technical foundation in all my students through correct posture and relaxation while playing. I grew up in the Suzuki method and have been trained to use it for my beginning and intermediate students. I am a classically trained violinist and teacher, but can teach other genres as well!

About DaNece

I started the violin when I was eight years old and taught my first student when I was 17. As a musician, I love the experience of making music in professional orchestras, chamber groups, and solo playing as much as I love teaching it to students of every age and level. I am an approachable, nurtur

I am an experienced classical violin teacher who has been teaching for 5 years from ages 5-16, beginner to advanced! I focus heavily on technique and foundations so the student has a well rounded music education and confidence in the violin that they can take with them forever. For beginners I use the Suzuki books, I Can Read Music series, String Builder series and Winning Rhythms. For more advanced violinists I use the Introduction to the Positions series and etude books such as Wohlfahrt and Kreuzer.

I am greatly pleased with the progress I have consistently made in playing the violin through Jonathan’s help. Jonathan has helped me to improve my bowing, string crossing, intonation, rhythm, musicality, and playing 3 octave scales, arpeggios, etudes, Suzuki selections, and classical orchestral music. "Omer is giving Violin lessons to my youngest son Eric for the last 6 months. Eric started playing the guitar a few years ago up until a movie he recently saw on a Japanese brilliant violinist , a week later he told us on his will to tryout the violin. Fortunately We heard Omer playing in a jazz club, and contacted him a few days after, Omer is a very talented musician but has unique capability and patient for his students. Omer is teaching with a very relaxed, positive attitude, his passion for music with small anecdotes and humour was what made Eric to get in love with the instrument and he is Impatiently waiting for his next lesson. we highly recommend Omer as a teacher and musician."
