I tried to teach guitar in the same manner in which I teach every instrument. First I teach students the rudiments of the instrument. Also I teach them how to read and a bit of music theory. From that point I like to follow the students lead. They bring in songs that they would like to learn, or possibly how to play lead guitar, or how to finger pick. At every point I try to point out general aspects of music that need to be learned from the material that they choose.

Hello! I have been teaching guitar for over 7 years now. Form beginners to advanced students I make it my duty to find the students interests and help them develop their own sound. As a Berklee College of Music graduate I have studied composition and music production, skills that I am happy to teach any student. In addition to teaching guitar my students have the option to learn music theory, as well as recording and mixing original compositions that we develop together in class and as homework assignments (DAWs - Logic & Protools). My specialities include Blues, Classic Rock, Jazz & electronic beat production.
About Farrokh
I have been playing guitar, piano, bass, ukulele and drums for 11 years now (teaching for 8 years). As a teenager I started playing all kinds of music and quickly became obsessed. At the age of 21 (2013) I went to Berklee College of Music where I studied guitar, composition and music production for

I'm not young, and I'm hard to teach music theory to, but he was patient, and is helping me figure a way into learning important stuff that I find kinda dry and not fun to practice. (I'm a good player, but music theory is very challenging to me.)

I have had innumerable music instructors over the course of many years, including group and now individual guitar lessons with David. Without reservation, in all regards he is the best I have had. His knowledge of music and ability to teach, to all ages and levels, are extraordinary. I frequently recommend him to others with enthusiasm and without qualification. In a nutshell: You could not find a better guitar instructor."

My 11 year old son has been taking guitar lessons with Blake for almost 2 years now and we are both so impressed with Blake. My son likes and admires him and I believe that helps motivate him to continue with guitar. Blake relates well to children and his level of experience is far beyond what I could ever had hoped for in a teacher here in the small town of Lowell! We are lucky to have him :-)"

Edwin I. is a great teacher. He focuses on what you want to learn as opposed to drilling music theory and scales. While these are very important, primarily focusing on them could make it easy to lose interest in playing the instrument."
