Stephanie was the clarinet instructor for my high school band program for two years. She did a fantastic job working with our students. Because of her guidance several made all-state honor band and a few of them are even music majors today. Highly recommended!

In person is much better.

Roberta was patient and was obviously an experienced teacher. I teach and I understand what it takes to put a lesson together so that the student gets the most out of it, while pushing the student to do better, but not too much to discourage them from moving forward. She hits that sweet spot! I would recommend her to anyone who was serious about learning.

Theory is an important element essential to understanding and developing your music. Basic scale patterns such as diatonic, pentatonic as well as the numerous modes will give you insight into what you're doing as well as help you to devise your own songs, if that's something you desire to do.

About Mark

Mark L. I was born in California but raised in the sleepy town of Beaverton, Oregon, enmeshed in massive groves of pine and poplar trees and long, cool rainy days. I entered into the world of creativity and music when I was just thirteen by composing poetry and song lyrics, and began dabbling wit

Music Student Face-Off: Memorizers vs. Readers | Which is Better?
