Sheri is a natural and amazing teacher. She is so positive and encouraging and I always look forward to her lessons. It is evident that she gets a lot of joy out of teaching music and working with students and that enthusiasm transfer to you and makes you enjoy the lessons and motivates you to learn. I've been playing for about 9 years and have played in several bands. I've bee teaching for about 4 years and find its best to teach as we play rather than teach theory and then play. My personal teaching style is to show a student chords and or scales in the beginning of class, then use the rest to play around with them and then focus on the technique to play it efficiently and effectively.
