Excellent instructor. Very excited to my 1st lesson tonight. Thank you

Today was the first lesson for my 5- and 7-year-old girls. They were super excited to meet Nicole, and they loved their first lesson. She is warm, clear in her teaching, and punctual. We’re already looking forward to next week.
Charles is very professional, kind and friendly. My 9 year old is trying to learn Bohemian Rhapsody on his viola for a talent show and Charles has been very helpful, guiding him through the music with positive reinforcement. We tried a couple other instructors but it wasn't the right fit. Super pleased we found Charles. Look forward to many more lessons to come.

We have tried a few instructors for strings and they were not the right fit for us. We finally struck GOLD with Charles! Very professional, not at all condescending with his feedback (this was our problem with a couple others), taught my son things he has not learned in school in terms of correct form/placement of viola, and bow technique. We are very excited for the next lesson!
I have been doing cello for close to 10 years now, and as of 3 years ago, I discovered that I love teaching! It's become a favorite way of mine to inspire other's to be the best musician they can be! The cello isn't a particularly easy instrument to learn, but I will say that it is SO worth it. It takes work, but what doesn't? I would encourage everyone to play an instrument! It just so happens that I can only help with a few of those. ;)
I am 16 years old and a member of the Missouri Philharmonic Orchestra, and the principle cellist in the Play and Sing His Praises Homeschool Orchestra, where I also get to have the pleasure of being able to teach children and adults an instrument, when they otherwise might not have had a chance.
I'm sister to 13 siblings both older and younger than me, so I have lots of practice with people of various ages and temperaments. I would like to go to Evangel University for a major in cello music, right after I graduate high school. I love teaching because my cello and piano are my passions. I love seeing it become others passion also, and helping place that zeal in them for their instrument.
I try to give a fair price for my relatively newly found love of teaching.
I've been playing my cello for 10 years, and piano for 11. The direct
or of the PSHP home school orchestra is my private cello lessons teacher, and the choir director is my private piano instructor. I couldn't enjoy my lessons more!
I hope I can help you become the musician that you want to be!
Our daughter enjoyed her first lesson and is looking forward to the next one. Leah was patient and very knowledgeable. Thanks so much!

Ms.Leah is the best instructor ever!! We goof around and she has a very beautiful smile and laugh. I also learn so much about her, and cello! I want to be just like her!! She is so amazing!! I am learning so much from her. Now I love the cello so so much that I never want to part from it and it is all because of Ms.Leah!!

Leah is a great cellist, and a passionate teacher. All ways putting forward a challenge that can help one grow. Five stars!
I specialize in teaching strings; violin, viola, cello, upright bass. I teach ages four and older. If you can tie your shoes you can play the violin. I use the "Essential Elements for Strings" and the "G'DAE" curriculum mainly.
Lessons should be fun, and you should enjoy it more and more each time you come. That is why I teach not only classical music, but current popular music that is played on the radio. I like to hear the student's opinions, and see their reaction when they play songs they can recogni
ze. Sure, technique and posture are taught, but it is in a fun safe environment. I also teach that it is okay to make a mistake. There is no judgment in my class, and if you need more time or more help then that is what you get.
Michelle is an awesome teacher. My children 8 & 11 are taking Violin lessons with her and she has been amazing. She is very easy to work with and both my children are very comfortable with her, even my daughter who is very shy but Michelle finds a way to work with her. I was not sure about online lessons for young children but it has been a great experience.

Super friendly and informative. I can tell my Ella will like her.
Music brings the beauty out of life. My first priority is to quickly lay a solid technical foundation in order to speed progress and cultivate harmony between the student and their Cello. I have been teaching professionally for 11 years. I combine Suzuki and traditional methods. All skill levels and ages are welcome! Ages 5+
I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance in Cello from Bilkent University School of Music in Ankara, Turkey on a full-scholarship, as a full-time music student for 11 years with honors. In 2012 I graduated from Valdosta State University with my Master’s Degree in Performance with 4.0 GPA, where I was the recipient of an out of state scholarship and teaching assistantship.
While pursuing my Master’s Degree at VSU, I had the opportunity to teach in award-winning South Georgia String Project (SGSP), an after-school music program where public school-age children, from grades 1-12, have access to low-cost stringed instrument lessons. In SGSP I was fortunate enough to instruct a diverse group of children where I conducted orchestras, assisted with the Valdosta Youth Orchestra, taught group and private lessons, and applied Differ
entiated Learning teaching techniques.
My experience as an intercultural and international musician, and as a teacher enables me to collaborate with people from varying backgrounds.
I strive to tailor each student's experience. Facilitating progression and learning at the individual level.
Throughout my teaching career, my focus has been centered around cultivating the students’ interest by awakening a sense of music appreciation while teaching them the technical skills of playing an instrument.
Apart from teaching, I have been a performer for 12 years with various orchestras. And now you can see me play with the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra in Oahu, where I live and teach.
I am looking forward to bringing the joy of music into your life!
Ms. Bryant is very patient and encouraging. She consistently tried to understand and encourage our son. She is enthusiastic about her instrument and challenged herself to develop her own skills. She has a great sense of humor, and really “clicked” with our son. He really enjoyed her as his teacher! Highly recommended! The best music teacher we have had in 27 years of parenting.

Working with Tugce was an absolute joy. I’ve had the pleasure of working with her as a colleague and working with her as a private instructor as well. Working with her as a colleague was pleasurable. She was very professional, approachable, and knowledgeable. If I had any questions or needed help in any way she was always there to help me and was willing to help with anything that I needed. As a private instructor she was very knowledgeable, personable, relatable, and thorough in her explanations of how things should be executed. She was always patient and made me feel at ease with where I was in my studies. She met me where I was in my studies as a cellist and worked with me to help me elevate myself in what my goals were. She helped me be confident in my own knowledge and physical ability. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for a cello teacher!!

Tuğçe is the best out there. I took her class and had no experience what so ever when it came to strings, but she guided me through and before I knew it, I was making the strings sing like a bird.
Experienced teacher of 3 years with a specialization in beginning/intermediate cello students. Lessons will cater to the needs of each individual student with a focus on a strong technical foundation. As a teacher, I concentrate on engaging students in their learning and aspire to inspire students to discover the joys and benefits of learning music. Not only will students learn to play the cello but they will have instruction in note reading, music theory and ear training. I believe that music should be enjoyable for students and strive to make meaningful connections with my students, positively influencing their musical lives.
I am a performer and teacher, specializing in cello and English as a Second Language. I graduated with a bachelor and master degree in music performance (cello) from Ball State University (Indiana). While a student, I had a multitude of teaching experiences ranging from music theory, music history, ear training, and English as a Second Language.
For the past three years, I have taught beginning/intermediate cello students. My teaching experiences began at a non-profit community music camp, Music for the Sake of Music, in Green Bay, Wisconsin. During this experience, I found a passion for teaching beginning students because of the fundamental need to provide a solid foundation. These early teaching experiences also inspired my teaching philosophy. Students can expect to focus on technique while simultaneously working on challenging and
exciting repertoire. Although there is an emphasis on strong fundamentals, I strive to demonstrate the fun and beneficial qualities of studying music. Music should not be a chore but rather a source of creativity and enjoyment.
I am open to teaching students of all ages and levels, although the majority of my experience is in beginning and intermediate levels. I've studied the cello for 14 years. I have experience in tutoring music theory, sight-ear (ear training), and music history. Also, I have been certified through the National College Learning Center Association, completing training that emphasizes engagement of students. Through this training I've learned how to help students learn independently and overcome challenges through trial and error. In music, these skills foster efficient practice techniques that often lead to a quickly developed technique.
During my studies, I was also a classroom instructor of ESL. I taught academic English to university students with various proficiency levels. In these classes, I taught between 2-15 students. This experince strengthened my classroom management but also taught me how to prepare lesson plans catering to individual students. I have received a graduate level certification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and in doing so I have studied materials development, classroom assessment/creating assessments, and methodologies for teaching English as a second language. Lastly, I have tutored individuals in ESL, working closely to improve listening, speaking, and vocabulary.
As a performer, I have played in many regional orchestras throughout Indiana such as the Lafayette Symphony Orchestra, Muncie Symphony Orchestra, and Kokomo Symphony Orchestra. I also have experience performing outside of a classical setting, especially in recording. In previous years I have recorded on pop albums for independent artists and composers. My most notable experience includes recording with Tony Award winning actress and singer, Sutton Foster on her newest album Take Me to the World.
Studying music is not about achieving perfection; it is about creativity and joy and obtaining skills that transfer to numerous fields. I look forward to meeting you and helping you develop a wide variety of skills that will enrich many parts of your life.
As a passionate cello player, I want my students to have fun but also really understand their instrument and the music they are playing! Students will learn their scales through the circle of fifths, shifting positions, vibrato techniques, music theory, and performing with an accompanist. They are expected to have fun but to work hard - it’s totally worth it!
I have been playing piano for 23 years and cello for 16 years. I love sharing music with others and seeing them grow to love music as well. I am currently a pianist for the KC Ballet’s ROAD program. I have a Bachelors of Music from Lindenwood University. I have been a piano accompanist for 7 years. I taught 5th grade Orchestra Club in the Fort Zumwalt School District and was a substitute teacher for Orchestra classes for 3 years. I have been teaching private lessons for 10 years.

"She is a really nice teacher! I’m enjoy the class!"
"Daisy very much enjoyed her first lesson with Nicole and said she was very encouraging and gave her great pointers about how to improve. We are so pleased
and look forward to more lessons to come!"
"Nicholas is very friendly and made me feel welcome, understanding and adjusting the pace as I needed. It was a great experience and I am feeling motivated
to practice on my own. I am no music expert, and yet I think he's absolutely great."
"Jessica is an amazing teacher. I thought it would be difficult to do music lessons online. But this is PERFECT!"
"As an adult beginner, I was not sure how to start. Meixu guided me to this road of dream with her patience and responsibility. With her company, I keep ma
king progress. I'd like to recommend her if you want to find a good Cello teacher."
"Victor has the rare ability to both inspire and equip a budding musician. Often, a teachers may be enthusiastic but may lack in practical, effective tech
niques to enable a student to truly excell. There are also the cases in which an instructor has excellent info to share, but lacks the spark and fun needed for a child to truly benefit. Victor has both. He took our frustrated daughter who was convinced she could not do this thing called cello, and gave her both the tools to succeed and the drive to work. As a former music educator myself, I recommend him with my highest regards."
"My grandson son says Chris has a great attitude and flair and is really looking forward to his next lesson! I think they hit it off well with a great stu
dent/teacher communication Thank you Chris! Jordan says see you at the next lesson!!!"
"Genevieve is a thoughtful, experienced, skilled, and patient teacher. She herself comes from a legacy of some of the finest cello pedagogy and musicianshi
p this world has to offer. It is a privilege to study with her!"
Many beginning musicians wonder, “Is cello hard to learn?” The process of learning the cello is not difficult, but it’s important to keep in mind that the cello is not an instrument of instant gratification. It does require focused, daily practice time and a good teacher to guide you along the way.
How far you progress with cello is a direct result of the amount of quality time you put into practicing the instrument. Even someone who puts in just 30 minutes a day will notice a signi …
