I am a self-taught musician with 15 years of experience playing electric and acoustic guitar. My lessons begin by learning what inspires you as a musician, and working to take you where you want to go! Learning some of your favorite songs is often a great place to start. By learning a variety of music, you'll quickly begin to notice patterns & understand basic theory on what notes work together well. From there, you can apply that knowledge to improvisation, as well as songs you may want to write!
From those first few lessons, there's a million different ways we can explore the guitar together. With my lessons, I offer recording time in my home studio where you can learn how to write, record, produce, and mix fully arranged songs!
Reach out to say hi, and let me know what some of your immediate goals and questions are!
Specialties: Indie, Rock, Pop, Alternative, Psychedelic, Folk, Acoustic.
Open to students of all ages.

I offer lessons in Guitar for all levels, having 5+ years of teaching experience and 12 in music education. I've taught children from 7 years old to adults 60+ from many different backgrounds, and my lessons are always structured the same way: To serve your needs, your goals and allow you to enjoy the process of learning.
I began playing when I was 11, and I find that for any beginner, it's important to start with material that gets instant "musical" sound from the guitar. This consists on learning the chords to your favorite songs, some easy riffs or melodies, and dicovering the path you want to take on the instrument. Once you get more advanced, technical aspects like music theory and how to use it creatively take a more important role in the lessons. For advanced players, I will find your strengths and weaknesses, and we will work on maintaining those strengths while slowly improving on the weaknesses, which may be technical, theoretical or even psychological. If you are more ...

Then he breaks it down and takes the speed you are comfortable in learning and does not overwhelm you. I feel very comfortable with him and I am tons more advanced then I could even imagine. I’ve only done 3 sessions so far and can’t wait to see my progress with 5 more lessons to go. Great guy on top of it:). I highly recommend Trevor to anyone."

I greatly appreciate the music Dylan and Jordan select for Dylan to learn. Given Dylan's enthusiasm, I hope he will continue lessons with Jordan for the foreseeable future. Jordan is a excellent role model for Dylan."

I liked the way that Matt listens to the songs I like and within seconds he's able to play them by ear. Hopefully and with some more training and lessons I will be able to get on that level. Other than that I have no complaints."
