I am a professional Guitarist, Bassist, Pianist and Music Instructor based out of Haddonfield, NJ. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Music in 2007, and was trained by top-tier musicians in Jazz, Classical, Blues, Rock, RnB, Pop and even Broadway.

My teaching style is to first identify what music motivates students, and then to carve out a path for them in fundamental practice towards achieving their goals, while preparing them for performance-level playing. Along that path, other musical styles, famous musicians and examples of mastery are introduced to broaden student’s understanding of what is achievable and to motivate them towards a higher level on their instrument.

After years of working on my scales and feeling like I still didn't know my way around the guitar, Tom was able to explain how to play scales vertically in both major and minor keys in just one lesson. No one before him had been able to explain it in such a way for it to finally click for me. Since then, I feel like my shredding skills have improved 10 fold and I have fallen even more in love with playing and jamming along to my favorite songs. Tom is patient, kind, calm, and an incredibly skilled guitarist that anyone would be lucky to learn from!

"Greg has been teaching me acoustic guitar for almost a year now. His passion for what he does comes out in his teaching and his students are the better for it. He really helped me grow as a new guitar player and I have him to thank for that. In addition to being very knowledgeable about music, he was extremely flexible in developing a curriculum that fit what I was looking for. Very highly recommended!"

"I have taken instrument lessons in the past, but never for guitar, which I have been teaching myself for many years. I’m glad I came across Nathan because he seems to be able to answer all of my questions that I had stocked up. We began with a lesson about the history of tuning frequencies because I mentioned I was interested in that. An hour flew by as we went over everything from the fundamentals to learning certain scales and theory that will help me in the music that I tend to play.
Nathan is very pleasant, easygoing and thoughtful in approach. Now I have some awesome charts and scales to absorb and practice because he left me with the best visual diagrams of scales on a fretboard I have ever seen. Looking forward to more lessons!"

"Grant is an amazing instructor. I've been taking lessons for 2 months and I can already play full songs memorized. He's willing to teach anything I want to learn and he's very encouraging. He's also been very flexible with my schedule, since I sometimes have to reschedule times due to work.
Lessons are definitely much more expensive than when I was a kid, but I'm going to keep with it because Grant's instruction is worth it."

"I was referred to Ahmad by a professional well versed in the music industry. I'm so thankful for the referral because I couldn't have asked for a better teacher! Not only does Ahmad know his instrument inside and out with the ability to articulate his knowledge into teaching, but he also knows about record production, marketing, and much more because she's a successful performing and recording artist himself. "Jarred is hands down the best guitar teacher you could ask for. As I am a working adult and it’s tough to take the time to learn new things, Jarred takes each lesson at my pace. He also makes sure I am pushing myself week to week so I’m not going too slow either. Other guitar teachers have discouraged me from playing as they have a hard time explaining where to start and get the confidence to keep at it (some are even more interested in showing you their skills instead of teaching you). Jarred is the exact opposite of that. He took time to understand what I wanted to learn and focused on improving my struggles in a way that built my confidence instead of bringing back any past discouraging memories. Instead of quitting again, I now look forward to playing guitar and after a month and a half can play a good chunk of Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd. This is your guy if you really want to learn how to play!"
