Cello Lessons in Ninde. Amazing Teachers.

I have a degree in music with a teaching certificate. I have been teaching cello privately for 10 years. Depending on the age of the child we will start with either Essential Elements or Suzuki cello book one. They will start with proper positioning and plucking. Once they have 8 notes down, we start bowing. As we progress, we will be doing scales, and etudes.

In my lessons, my primary focus is helping students learn cello at their own pace, and developing their love and appreciation for music! Cello can be challenging, but anyone can learn with the right guidance! I have a conservatory training, and years of experience teaching people of all ages how to play. Students will learn technique, music reading, scales and arpeggios, and basic music theory in a comfortable and encouraging environment!

I am a professional cellist with years of performing and teaching.
I attended the Jacobs School of Music for my undergraduate and masters' degrees and was a graduate teaching assistant. I also received my Stott Pilates Teaching Certification while at IU and incorporate postural alignment into my teaching. I have Suzuki certification and work on a strong technical foundation, which both facilitates performing and frees us up to explore non-traditional techniques and other genres.

Most importantly, I strive to nurture the love and passion for music and cello and I am here to help you achieve your musical goals.

Hello, my name is Bailey and I love teaching cello! I am a professional pianist and public school orchestra teacher. I have a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education and a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from the Fredonia School of Music. I am a certified K-12 music teacher in New York State. I have been giving private lessons for 10 years to a variety of learners ranging in age and skill level.
My students walk away each week feeling empowered and confident in their abilities. I am able to push you while making you feel excited about new challenges. I am able to assess what you need, and offer you meaningful feedback in small, digestible chunks. Along with all of this, I make lessons fun! I started playing with the Suzuki method at age 5. I have been teaching cello to ages 5 to adult for over 8 years. While not a concert or symphony level player, I have been providing quality lessons and guidance to beginners and intermediate players of all ages and interest for years. As with all of my lessons, I provide a core curriculum as well as customizing to the student's needs and interest. From Bach and other Suzuki classics, to modern favorites like The Beatles or Pirates of the Caribbean.

I am a french cellist, master graduated in cello performance from Mcgill University and currently pursuing a chamber music diploma at San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
I am qualified, adaptable, and professional. I have been teaching for the past 10 years from beginners to intermediate, kids to elders.
You would need to have your own cello for lessons, many stores in SF rent cellos monthly.
Lessons can be in french or english.
