Andrew is a stellar guitar instructor! He's patient, precise and our practice sessions are loads of fun. We're working on new stuff every week (currently, we're focused on finger-style). Anytime I get stuck, he helps me find where I'm tripping, break it down and get "unstuck" (thanks Andrew!)... His online video classroom setup is professional and looks\sounds crisp and clear.

Highly recommended.

Andrew is awesome! Super nice, eager to help in any way he can. Learned a lot in just the first lesson. Excited for many more weeks.

Andrew is the coolest, most easy-going professional out there. He teaches you at your own pace, guiding you effectively through techniques, music theory, or simply learning your favorite songs (I gave him a challenging song to teach me and he was not only prepared, but excited and enthusiastic). A fantastic teacher through and through!

Experienced guitar instructor of over 10 years, offering highly-personalized lessons built around the musical preferences, needs and goals of my students. I teach students of all ages in a warm, welcoming, LGBTQIA+ friendly environment.

For beginner students the focus will be primarily on getting you able to play songs from artists you love quickly and enjoyably, with a focus on developing good rhythm, technique, guitar care and a solid foundation of chords that can be used in innumerable songs. Theory will be given in small, easily-digestible pieces, and always within the context of actual musical examples. If you're interested in learning to sing while playing, I'll also help you find ways to incorporate it early on so that it becomes more natural as you progress.

For students with some experience the direction of our lessons will be largely determined by your personal needs and goals, but subjects we might cover include songwriting, finger-picking, expanding chord vocabulary, ...

I have been under the instruction of Noah for a little over two months now and I really enjoy his teaching style. I am older and not a proficient reader of music so Noah has had to start with very basic skills for me. He has done a great job of making it understandable. I am learning to read music and to play the ukulele at the same time, and am enjoying the online lessons.

"The first lesson with Michael was fun. He has a great personality and doesn't sound like Ben Stein when he's teaching.

Micheal has a great way of communicating the lesson information through teaching principals, he has a wealth of music knowledge and recognizes my way of learning. I liked that the lesson was broken up into segments and he ensured I understood the concept before we moved on the next portion.

Micheal provided valuable feedback during the lesson and followed up with me via email. Included in the email was tablature and backing tracks to assist with practice.

I'm looking forward to our next lesson!"

"It will be difficult... You have to put in a lot of practice... Your fingers will hurt, etc." These things only serve to discourage the student and the parent, who …
