Wonderful teacher! I've been taking lessons to improve my voice in speech and daily conversations with Chelsea for 9 months, and I've definitely achieved my goal. She made customized plans, design the class based on my goals, and adjust the class material based on my feedbacks. Now my voice is much more supported and I’m more confident in giving presentations. Overall, she is very professional, supportive and encouraging!

I truly can only say good things about working with Chelsea. I was quite nervous about taking piano lessons for the first time since my early childhood, but Chelsea was very encouraging and made me feel at ease. Even with pieces that I thought I couldn’t succeed in playing, her method of breaking down the piece and then putting it back together worked amazingly for me and I was able to learn to play those pieces. We had to unfortunately switch to virtual lessons midway due to COVID-19, but she was used to conducting virtual lessons and I didn’t feel any hiccups with the switch in lesson format. What’s also great about Chelsea is that she cares about you more than just as her student but you as a person - she actually helped me with a career change (granted it was related to music) and was very helpful in that aspect as well for me. She was everything I could have hoped for in a piano instructor and more!

Chelsea is a tremendous teacher, with sympathy and patience for my absurd schedule and difficulty reading music.

The "Broadway Sound" has changed over time - from almost operetta-style classically trained voices (Rodgers & Hammerstein) to the classic broadway belt (Ethel Merman, Judy Garland, Liza Minelli) to the current vogue for rock/r&b styling (Mamma Mia, Hamilton) or "speech level" singing (Wicked, The Last Five Years). And as a musical theater singer, you need to master them all! Work with me to develop these different vocal styles, and build up your repertoire and audition book!

With 20+ years of professional performing, coaching and teaching experience under my belt, I emphasize rhythm and musicality alongside technique and note reading. Julia is an amazing piano teacher who is always more than accommodating with her schedule. I love the way she teaches and she always uses great analogies to help me understand the lesson better. I am an adult who has never played piano and she has really made the learning experience fun for me. I look forward to continuing my lessons with her. Highly recommend!!

Alyssa is an upbeat, encouraging, and patient teacher. Her own singing voice is beautiful, and she sings very professionally in a wide range of genres. She is reliable, pleasant, sincere, and capable. She gives each student her full attention and tailors her lessons to each one's particular talent (as well as where they're in need of improvement). I recommend Alyssa very highly... She's delightful!

"Sofia was wonderful teacher. she was very punctual and my child liked her bright and fun personality. She taught piano very well considering young child’s age and providing relaxed and flexible method rather than traditional way with tension. We liked her but her schedule didn’t work with us so we had to let her go unfortunately.
P.S. Sofia, thank you for teaching my child her first piano lessons and we wish you the very best luck for your future~!"

"I could not be happier with my decision to take voice lessons with Ben! These past couple of months have been more beneficial to me than any of my previous experience with other teachers. I have already seen improvement in my voice and there is still so much I can learn. Ben works to improve the voice as a whole, rather than limiting it to one specific area. I would highly recommend him to those who are ready to put in the work necessary to get great results."

"I am a Pastor at a local church and singing is a part of my “job” every week. I’ve spent most of my college career and even post college trying to find my voice and grow more comfortable as a vocalist. After taking only a few lessons with Jen she really did help me find my voice. Not only did I become more comfortable as a vocalist, but my overall skill and enjoyment of singing grew as well. If I had to suggest anyone else... well I wouldn’t. Jen is the best vocal coach I know. Go to Jen if you want to grow and have fun while you do it!"
