I like to offer carefree and relaxed vocal lessons! We can work on sight-reading, music theory, audition prep or, a song you'd like to know!

I've been continuing my vocal studies for the last 10 years, I have experience with Choir, Opera Ensemble, Solo work, and Musical Theatre. Singing is fundamental to our lives, it brings happiness and joy.

My teaching philosophy is centered around this: you already have a voice, we are just uncovering it. I give my students the tools to uncover what is unique about their instrument, and enable them to become vocal artists, painting sounds and colors with their voices.

I use the principles of classical training and apply them to all genres: rock, jazz, pop, musical theater, folk, and opera. I encourage students to use their imagination and creativity to train their bodies. We are both vocal artists and athletes. I encourage my students to be uninhibited in their ability to respond to music.

Singing lessons with me is unique because I feel like I have been through it all, in the sense of going through many vocal teachers and experimenting with different techniques. After finding my teacher Michael Mayer, I have finally been able to feel free and comfortable in my singing and want to share this knowledge with everyone!
I am highly intuitive and am able to get in tune with the singer and recognize what is needed because I have such a strong vocal technique background as I've spent most of life searching for true vocal technique and so glad to have finally found it! And I must say I'm very passionate about the art of bel canto and therefore feel like I'm lucky to hold the knowledge of some great secrets especially living in Italy for over 16 years where I've been able to become fluent in the language and learn the spirit of bel canto!

Have fun singing Opera. All the drama, acting, stage movement, makeup can be part of your singing craft.
I will train you with the necessary skills to be in an opera or musical production.
You will learn:

You will improve your singing voice and acting skills in a creative and non-threatening environment. I will help you to choose a repertoire that suits your voice.
You would have the opportunity of performing in a small recital, and to be considered to be part of the Moonlight Opera chorus or for a secondary role.

I like to work one-on-one with my students creating a team and program that will lead each one of them to achieve their goals.
Since each student is different I like to create and select the material for each student's needs.
Sometimes I suggest some books but I try to keep my students from spending too much money.

'Having performed in operas such as 'Cosi Fan Tutti' and sang in various choirs, I have experience in 'Opera Voice' (or also called 'Classical Voice.') Both as a vocal pedagogy teacher and vocal coach (emphasizing the story-line of the operatic piece) - my background is uniquely suited to be of assistance. Whether singing in German, Italian, English (etc) - you will gain assistance with your efforts. I use the IPA as a foundation for assisting my students in their performances.

Gain optimal vocal alignment with Classical and Operatic technique. Emphasis is on flexibility/strength, extension of vocal range, and beauty of tone.
