I love performing and teaching! I've performed at multiple venues in New York City, including Carnegie Hall and Off-Broadway. I studied piano, opera performance and musical theater at Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ and acting at Primary Stages. I'm playing a nurse this season on New Amsterdam and have many other film and TV credits! My first vocal teacher and the best!
Ms. Rachel was an amazing vocal teacher! We would always start off with simple and fun warm-ups, breathing techniques, and would practice singing songs from musicals. My first couple lessons she taught me how to sing I Feel Pretty from West Side Story and we both had so much fun with it! After a little while we learned Cups from Pitch Perfect and then we got into the Vaccai book and I learned a couple songs from there. Overall Ms. Rachel was the best! She even offered to Skype a lesson with me since she moved. She cared about me and always helped me improve my voice in every way she could. I love her!
I teach all levels. We will choose appropriate material for your age/expertise and focus on technique. I specialize in strengthening the middle voice and teaching how to mix your belting and head registers.

I'm having the greatest time taking lessons with Jessica. It's definitely the highlight of my week. She's extremely personal, encouraging, and extremely knowledgeable. I met Laura at Harvard University when we were both doing our MFA degrees in acting. Since our program was not a Musical Theater one and I was not a singer, I started to take private lessons with her to compliment some of the training in singing we were getting there.
Laura is a fantastic singer and actor. She has an incredible ear as well as great knowledge and experience of what makes a singing performance pop. All this makes her an outstanding coach.
Even now after graduation, I am still training with her. Our focus now is on continuing the development of my singing voice. My goal is to reach a level where I have the skill and confidence to audition professionally for musicals, and I know I am in great hands.

Shortly after my graduation from undergraduate studies, I started my professional career. I have been engaged with Turkish State Opera House as a permanent opera singer for seven years. In this role, I had the opportunity to perform leading roles with well-known orchestras, conductors and opera companies. It helped me to develop a professional attitude, discover leading research in opera at a younger age, develop good communication skills, musical discipline and responsibility at a young age.
