Superb instructor! Stacey was able to assess my level of proficiency within minutes and expertly tailored the first lesson accordingly. HIs teaching style and personal approach toward learning the guitar made me feel comfortable and confident at the same time. I couldn't be happier that I've found a guitar teacher like Stacey; I'm very much looking forward to future lessons.

I’m going into my 4th week of lessons with Stacey, I made so much progress with him, than with my last instructor. For the first time I’m not as frustrated. I like that he is teaching me how to play, and not just show me tabs and good luck....I highly recommend him as your instructor !

Guitar lessons with me would be best with beginners and intermediate people. I would suggest myself only if you are a beginner— and if you are an intermediate, I specialize is Christian Worship Leading rhythm guitar (guy up front). I will teach the best Chords for certain moments and songs, songwriting with guitar (if interested) and how to lead worship with your guitar!

Sam is an amazing singer and guitar player in his own right. He is technically brilliant and easily inspires, teaches, and leads others around him. He has helped improve both my guitar playing and my singing so much in so little of a time! Sam is patient, kind, and very constructive in his teaching, meeting his students where they are and helping them improve one step at a time!

My students not only learn to play the guitar, but learn "why they are doing what they are doing!" I teach all ages and I am very patient. We can work as fast or as slow as you like. I believe lessons should be informative and fun at the same time. I teach each students the basics of note reading, chord theory and scales as these subjects relate to the guitar. I use varoius method books like Hal Leonard, The FJH Music, as well as method books for children.

I took lessons with Jeff a few years back, and if it wasn’t for his teaching, I would not be where I am now. He helped me smooth out my technique, taught me jazz essentials, and even dabbled in a little classical guitar as well (and that is what I do now!) His lessons were inspiring to say the least!

Last year, I had the opportunity to study with Christian at CSU Northridge. Christian is one of the finest musicians I have come across in the years that I have been playing music. Not only does he have impressive skills with the guitar, he also has knowledge in the history of the guitar and music theory. When he was studying at CSUN, I was able to have some lessons with Christian on a baroque piece that was giving me trouble. First, I'd like to mention how patient he was with me when I was frustrated and lost in the music. Also, I was surprised at how much he knew about the music as he explained what was going on in the piece and why. Oh... did I mention that I had some AWESOME results after ONE lesson??? Do yourself the favor and check this guy out!

I play and teach nylon-string guitar, steel-string acoustic guitar, and electric guitar. I specialize in finger-style classical guitar, jazz, and folk, but I also have a background in rock, bluegrass, blues, soul, pop, Hawaiian, Celtic music and more. I always start lessons with new students by getting to know what music they love to play and listen to, and I will develop my lessons accordingly.

If you have experience with guitar, I will probably ask you to demonstrate your skill level by playing a song you know. If you are picking up guitar for the first time, the first lessons will be devoted to learning correct posture and technique, and you will begin playing your first scales, exercises, and open chords. After a few lessons, you will begin to learn your first melodies and repertoire.

After a few weeks, our lessons will likely take several different, but parallel trajectories. You will learn to play the lead melodies to songs as well as play the rhythmic accompaniment. ...

"As a middle aged man trying to learn an instrument, it was a daunting task to find a teacher that would work with me to learn the basics of guitar without laughing at my inability to actually play the darn thing.

Adam has been a great teacher and exactly the sort of professional and understanding person I was looking for. While I don't think my mediocre (getting better every week) guitar skills are the best testament to Adam's ability as a teacher, I think the fact that he has encouraged me to stick with it and turn a crazy idea into a legitimate hobby is."

"I took guitar lessons with Tom for a little over 3 years. Not only did he teach me guitar, but I also learned bass, music theory, and music performance. Tom's general vibe is relaxed but professional, and he is good at keeping lessons fun but productive. I would highly recommend lessons with Tom to anyone interested in learning about music. I attended Berklee College of Music's 5 week summer program this past year and tested into both the highest music theory and musicianship classes, thanks to what I learned from Tom. He is very knowledgeable about not only theory, but also improvisation, reading, and performance. Anyone would be lucky yo have Tom as a teacher!"
