I've taken lessons with Emi as a beginner and later as a more experienced guitarist. Always a great lesson. He's a fantastic teacher for people of any experience level. He goes out of his way to tailor his lessons to whatever you specifically want to learn.

I've been trying to teach myself to play the guitar for months now, and I learned more with Emiliano in 2 lessons than I did in those months. If you really want to learn to play, get a lesson with Emiliano. It is worth it. He makes things easy to understand, and was super patient with me who has zero musical talent. I really cannot recommend him enough.
Matthew
Emiliano is a fantastic teacher. I knew little to nothing about guitar before working with him and he was able to easily walk me through everything. Thanks Emiliano!

I can show you the basics of guitar from tuning to your first chords. My speciality is in rhythm as I am a drum player first. Rhythm is so important to playing the guitar. I also have a strong foundation in the chord and scale theory as well as jazz harmony.

Many people think playing acoustic guitar is the same as playing the electric. While this isn't completely untrue, there are subtle differences that are key to mastering either or both. When we sit down to work on building our skills on an acoustic guitar, we'd go at a pace comfortable for you, and you'll be playing like a pro in no time.

Dave is a great teacher and has helped me for 2 years whenever I have a problem he takes time out of the lesson to help me on a specific instruction. He pushes me to do better but we still go at a place we’re I am comfortable.

My kids loved Dave and can’t wait for him to come back!
Van
As highly as Dave's previous reviews spoke of him, he still managed to exceed any expectations I had. He was calm, reassuring, and it was immediately apparent just how comfortable he is teaching small children. Dave managed to hold the attention of my 5 year old for the entire lesson, and left my son excited about learning and confident that he can do it! I feel very fortunate to have found such a great teacher for my child.

All music lessons at WCGA combine solid instruction in music fundamentals with the student’s personal interests and goals. Guitar students will learn chords, scales, terminology, and technique along with note reading, chord progressions, and theory. Teacher duets are common in our lessons to develop listening and timing skills. Our guitar teachers make sure every student understands the fretboard in order to execute challenging melodies and riffs along with chords that are suitable for popular, rock, jazz and other styles of music. Teachers craft each lesson to incorporate the fundamentals of guitar playing with the personal interests of each student.

My two boys ages 8 and 9 started taking piano lessons with Nick about a year ago and they love it! He is very professional, always on time, and keeps them entertained the whole time! Although they are progressing at different rates, Nick is always patient and encouraging. I highly recommend Nick and his teaching abilities!
Stacey
My two daughters have been taking guitar lessons with Nick for 2-1/2 years, both on acoustic guitar and electric guitar. He has even taught my younger daughter how to play the ukulele. Nick is an awesome guitarist teacher. My girls have learned so much from him - how to read and write music, bar chords, strumming patterns, music theory and all different genres of music (like jazz, classical and even reggae). Nick can listen to any song my daughters want to learn, then immediately put the notes down on paper and teach it to them. Under his tuition, they’ve performed solo gigs, in their school talent shows, and for and with their friends. My older daughter also plays electric guitar in a teenage rock band. Thanks so much, Nick!!

Spiros has been an ideal teacher for me, he has a wealth of experience to draw from and has a natural nack for teaching (Im an absolute beginner).
His teaching method gets you playing fast and doesn't skimp on theory and musicality - he doesn't simply have you learn tabs and songs, this was a huge plus for me. Highly recommend him.

I've taught hundreds of lessons, over the past ten years. I have written, recorded, and produced my own songs, performed solo, and with bands. I have over 35 videos, and many of them are tutorials. I am sure I can teach and inspire you. Would you like to learn how to read music, or simply play your favorite songs? Or, perhaps you'd like to understand music better in general. Of course I can teach you scales, music theory, songwriting, and improvisation.

About Justin

I have played publicly in bands and as a solo act. I have written, produced, and recorded my own music. Otherwise, I have taught over a hundred lessons in my teaching career. You will be satisfied with me as your teacher.

"I took lessons from Greg for guitar some years ago and his methods really helped me understand music with the way he taught chord theory and such. It applied to literally every instrument I learned afterwards.

Greg also has a plenty of patience for his students and is really good at encouraging growth and understanding in his students. Sometimes I would come in with a song I wanted to learn that was way more advanced than I was at the time, but rather than say I couldn't play it or to wait until later, he would take that difficult song and help break it down into what I did know and we'd go from there and as I result I felt I learned quickly, as well as understood how to break down songs into their more basic elements which would become later on for when I wrote my own music or lead in bands.

All in all a great experience and I feel like I owe a lot of my musical ability to the lessons I took with Greg."

4 Tips For Maximizing the Lifespan of Your Acoustic Guitar

Whether your acoustic guitar is brand new or gently used, you can do a few simple things to keep it in great condition! Follow these tips from guitar teacher Samuel B. to get the most out of your acoustic guitar... Let's face it. Acoustic guitars can be an outright nuisance to keep in shape. They're delicate, sensitive to both humidity and temperature patterns, and often have weak central support. While the desire to keep yours both easily accessible and on display in a stand or on a rack is …
