I am truly passionate about your success in becoming the best ukulele player you choose to be! I like to teach with repetition (wax on wax off) and prefer to present the big picture first so that every obstacle may potentially never be an obstacle for you. I take years of teaching experience and what have been topics of frustration brought to me from students in the past... I try to smooth the road and teach you so you get the highest yield of success for your money with as little headaches as possible :)

Greg is a wonderful teacher. He is very thoughtful, considerate and kind. I hope to take classes with him again soon.
Ravi
I don't' want to be redundant, but Greg is the best instructor of any stringed instrument he plays. He's patient, understanding and always goes above and beyond. He has a methodology that just works but is still unique to him.
Dan
Greg is terrific. He is very kind and patient, and takes time to answer questions and offer advice about techniques and ways to improve.

Greg is encouraging also — he makes us feel confident. I believe he will make me a competent guitar player fairly quickly. I intend to take private lessons from Greg when our group lessons conclude. I expect to study guitar with him for a long time to perfect my ability to play guitar just for my own enjoyment.

"Sign up for classes with John. Just do it, and you won't regret it.

Whatever the opposite of musically-gifted is, that is what I am. I'm an adult beginner in the truest sense of the word - never read sheet music, couldn't hold a beat to save my life, and hadn't played an instrument. EVER. That's why I'm still amazed that I've learned to play a couple of simple songs after a few lessons with John - it's a great achievement on his part!

John has the patience of a saint and a great ability to teach. If I don't understand a concept or have difficulty contorting my fingers to hold a certain chord, he shows me a different way and can break it down to simpler terms. He's really a great teacher. On top of that, he's laid back, approachable, amiable, and very understanding of my busy work schedule. He makes sure I leave each lesson with enough homework to practice and gives me constructive criticism to work on my technique. Like another reviewer said, John is really worth his weight in gold!!"
