I offer a well rounded approach to learning cello with customized lessons that focus on creating a beautiful tone, healthy technique, music theory, history, sight-reading, and developing collaborative playing skills. Always striving to keep learning fun and engaging, our lessons will progress at an individualized pace. I find great joy in playing cello and hope to share my knowledge and love for music with you!

I am a Juilliard-trained cellist who is passionate about discovering the beauty and joy of music and encouraging my students in a life-long discovery of music-making regardless of age or prior experience.

Cello lessons with me will give you a solid understanding of cello technique along with developing your musicianship through music theory, music history and ear training. I teach a variety of musical styles and genres from Baroque, Classical, and Contemporary to crossover genres. Send me a message with any questions you might have!

Experienced Music teacher of 8 years available for eager students of all experience levels and ages! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation of their instrument and theory skills. I specialize in all styles. Typically, I use a variety of method books to pick from to meet the needs of the students. I also have many tools available to use during lessons.
My students have gone on to NYSSMA and on to college auditions successfully!

I am a Juilliard graduate and active performing cellist, and I love the cello and to teach it! I have performed in Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Disney Hall, the Louvre, and with distinguished artists such as Itzhak Perlman.

I genuinely love giving lessons and just want to be able to use my passion for the instrument to help others. I fully believe I am capable of teaching the fundamentals of the instrument while maintaining an exciting learning atmosphere where students truly want to improve.

Everyone comes to the cello for something different. It is my biggest goal as a teacher to shape a course of study that fits each student's interests and aspirations with the instrument. I have experience in a broad variety of teaching: beginner students of all ages, students exploring a hobby, and young advanced students aspiring to careers in music.

I am a firm believer of having a good setup and I am excited to share it with you the secret to having good posture, having no soreness when you play, and how to have a good bow hand..etc. If you need help learning how to practice efficiently-that means practicing less but with greater outcome, you can also come to me.
