About Juliet
I have been a teacher in private practice for 20 years. I have a wide range of experience with singers of all styles and age groups with a variety of goals and skills. I sang with a professional jazz octet for a number of years while maintaining my practice, have taught various master classes, musically directed various musicals, have sung background vocals and played piano on various recordings. I studied vocal and piano performance at Murray State University and studied privately through my adult singing and teaching career.

*** Lesson Details ***
I am a big believer of direct application of core technique to repertoire/style. Generally, lessons are fun, comfortable and laughter is encouraged. I like singers to be working on a wide variety of music from the beginning. It's a great way to understand and explore your voice an
d how great technique is fundamental to successful development. I find this approach beneficial if you're a beginning student or if you sing professionally. Not to mention, singing songs is fun!!!! I encourage all students to give input on repertoire. Songs are chosen with goals in mind, including working specific parts of the range, preparing for an audition or performance, stamina, strength, and overall vocal development. In 3-6 months you will have a very good understanding of how your voice works and how to apply good technique to a variety of styles of music. My goals for piano students of all ages include a broad understanding of music theory and the ability to sit down and play music! I believe good sight reading skills are paramount for piano enjoyment and functional playing skills. We will sight read at each lesson.

*** Studio Equipment ***
Studio with piano, mic, recoding equipment, and seating for parents.

*** Travel Equipment ***
I have a full size keyboard for travel.

*** Specialties ***
*Teachers classified as a Student Favorite have taught a minimum of 25
lessons and have received the highest feedback rating from students.I'm comfortable with all styles of singing and have coached extensively in most styles, from classical to hip hop to rock. I work with singers with various goals. Some are professional singers, some study for a future career, and some study for personal enrichment. I am very good at teaching solid healthy technique/voice use, with direct application to repertoire, maintaining the singer's authenticity, style, and vocal health.

d many others. She has been producing music and vocals in the recording studio, coaching voice, piano, songwriting, rap writing, performance, studio, jazz, blues, classical, pop and artist development for the past 20 years. She was operatically trained by Juilliard instructor Sylvia Bagley, trained as a jazz singer at world re-known Berklee College of Music, where she won several songwriting awards, and was R & B/Pop trained by Vocal Coach To The Stars, Seth Riggs. In 2010 she had a #6 Billboard hit dance song, which she wrote and sang and 2 top 10 hits in 2016. She has written, recorded and performed songs in several different languages for a variety of films, television shows, and commercials such as Nickelodeon's Hollywood Heights, The Natalee Holloway Story, Spike Lee Productions, Barbie, Ponds, Target, Ford, Mazda, Pontiac, The Guiding Light, The Young and The Restless. Fawn is a very fun, yet honest and straight-forward coach. She loves working with adults and children, and considers lessons a 'team effort to reach her students' goals. Being that music and the entertainment business are her career and life, she is current and relevant, yet has plenty of old school training to be well rounded and help students build a strong foundation. Music and the entertainment business are her life, and she loves helping people reach their goals and meet their dreams. She has released 5 albums, several singles, won numerous awards and worked with such talents as Grammy winners Lalah Hathaway and Paula Cole, Meredith Brooks, Vampire Diaries Kat Grahm, BT, Jeff Goldblum, Right Said Fred, Ed Townsend, QD3, Club Nuveau's Val Watson, Robbie Benson and shared the stage with Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Carol Channing, Kevin Sorbo, Pink, Joss Stone, David Guetta, Katy Perry, Moby, Dionne Warwick, James Torme', David Foster, Thelma Houston, David Pomeranz, War and countless others. Over the years, Fawn has been known to bring students into her inner circle, so they can gain more experience and exposure, taking them to red carpets, events and even putting them up onstage to perform. She remembers having piano, voice and songwriting coaches, and being frustrated in voice because instructors were not addressing issues that needed to be addressed. This is why she creates a positive and comfortable, safe environment so students can open up and progress quickly. Fawn moves straight to the heart of the matter and gets whatever needs work figured out, so students can move on to what their goals and dreams are. She has helped actors be able to sing parts for their TV shows, helped popular bands be able to have good stage performances and presence with precision dancing and singing and has helped vocalists find their true voice. About Tom
I have had a varied background growing up, from being an Eagle Scout, to holding a black belt in Judo.  Growing up in Arizona and being the youngest of three boys from a very musical family, I found classical music and it became my passion. I began with piano at age 9, while also sang in many church musicals. In 2006 I graduated from Northern Arizona University with two degrees: a bachelors in vocal performance and a bachelors in piano/choral education. At NAU, I sang in many operas and piano recitals and spent three months in Germany teaching choir through the Department of Defense.Shortly after, I graduated with a masters in vocal performance from Washington University in St. Louis. The studies I learned from Wash U catapulted my love for teaching!Recently, I have been teaching out of St. John School of the Arts, where I worked with v
oice and piano students ages 7-60. All of my students had varying styles, but I was able to help them build a foundation of technique that would allow them to sing with a free and healthy tone in any style.I believe we all have the ability to create music and I can help you discover it!

*** Lesson Details ***
My goal in voice lessons is first and foremost to establish a solid vocal technique.  My philosophy is "singing is simple, but not easy!"  We will focus mostly on two things: breath and space for singing.  This method of teaching is known as "bel canto".  It helps build a strong foundation that then allows you to sing almost any style!  Because everyone is different, we will tailor a set of exercises to fit your needs and will help you build that strong foundation!  Once these principles begin to settle in, we will work on music.  I have a huge library of songs to chose from, but I highly encourage you to bring in your favorite songs. Remember, everyone is different and progresses at different rates, but don't be discouraged! This is not a race, but a life skill that you will continue to master!

In piano, I am classically trained.  Through a series of music books, we will work on music theory, finger dexterity, music history, ear training, eye/hand coordination, and pure enjoyment of making music. Again, everyone is different, but with some outside commitment, you will improve! Classical piano training is a great foundation for all other styles, such as jazz, pop, singer songwriter, country, etc. Piano also helps with in other aspects of your life such as memory, math, history, reading, etc.

*** Studio Equipment ***
I have a full size keyboard and music stand.

*** Travel Equipment ***
Please provide a piano, music books, music stand (if needed), and a lesson book for notes.

*** Specialties ***
I am a classically trained baritone specializing in bel canto. I have found this technique to be a great foundation for all styles of singing, from opera to pop. I am also classically trained at the piano. I focus on natural hand positions, note identification, music theory, and ear training. And I have fun doing it!

We really enjoyed having Tom as our piano teacher. He taught 3 of my kids for 4 years till he moved 😥. He taught them technic, theory and also let my kids choose some fun songs that they wanted to play. He made sure the kids were having fun even though they did have to practice and played some classical songs. My kids have improved alot since they started taking too!

If you are looking for a vocal instructor, I highly recommend Adam! Adam is one of the most patient and understanding people that I have ever met. He has a true passion for teaching and that can be seen during each lesson through a variety of vocal techniques. So far, our vocal pedagogy has included: how proper singing technique is accomplished, breathing and air support for singing, posture, diction, vowels and articulation, range extension, and tone quality. Music has always been an important part of my life and I am grateful to have Adam as my vocal coach in order to further develop my voice. I have learned many helpful techniques from him and I am looking forward to learning more.

Erin is a fabulous voice coach. Not only does she have a beautiful voice but her passion for music flows through her teaching. She is encouraging and positive, building both confident and strong singers.

Erin took the and care to educate me on every aspect of the art of singing/voice (posture, breathing techniques, importance of facial muscles, head voice/chest voice, vocal health etc.) In just 5 lessons (45 minutes each) my voice has grown beyond even my expectations with Erin's guidance.

You will be extremely happy if you choose Erin as a voice coach. She is affordable, easy going and knows how to produce results!

I definitely became a better singer because of her, and still use of some of her warm ups today when I get opportunities to sing. I miss having her around in Pittsburgh!

I interned in a voice studio for two years and am now working with a high school musical theater after school program. I have experience in community theater, performing in opera's abroad, jazz theory and improv, and even transcription. I like to focus on stage presence and audition etiquette. I have never auditioned for something I have not landed! If you're a beginner not yet sure what you want to focus on it's time to study with someone who has studied a little bit of everything!

About Annie
I'm a student at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. I have studied Jazz, Musical Theater, Opera, German Lieder, Contemporary Music as well as theory classes and ear training. I have performed in various show choirs, community theater productions and most recently in Mozart's The Magic Flute in Salzburg, Austria. I am also an intern at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia working alongside High School students in an after school musical theater program. I have taken classes on voice pedagogy, teaching music to children with special needs, and also worked with students at an after school program at a nearby elementary school. I am very new to teaching but I would love to work with a beginner student who is looking to get their feet wet with some repertoire as well as ear training and some music theory!
