Hi there! I've been playing guitar since I was a teenager during the '70s. i play and teach rock, blues, jazz, fusion and read and compose music. What you can expect from me is a patient, serious, determined teacher who knows how to convey simple to complex technique and ability to those who are destined to be a student and musician. I can teach how to read, listen, interpret, improvise and evolve many musical skills.

About Gregg

I have had extensive jazz a rock studies from attending The Guitar Institute of Technology in Hollywood, to becoming George Russell's teaching assistant at The New England Conservatory of Music in Boston before he retired. I learned from a true master of jazz and contemporary music regarding compos

Gregg was my musical instructor during the early 1980ties. What I learned in a few lessons with him was more that I could have expected. I was primarily focused on percussion, of which his vast knowledge was highly dynamic. I learned about poly-rhythms, Indian ti-hies, and complex time signatures. He had available much reference material that he provided me. And over the years his musical insights have not only supplemented my inquiries, but made me a better musician and person. I hope you have a chance to study with Gregg, as you will be introduced to a new and better way of musicianship!

I recently began singing again after a year and was very unconfident in my voice and my ability to improve. Albino was the perfect instructor for someone like me because of his patience and positivity. He was able to point out issues with my singing technique or provide feedback in a very positive way, without seeming critical. Whenever I was confused about something, he would work with me non-stop until I understood. Albino inspires confidence in all his students, and I highly recommend him as a teacher!

Tom is a well informed music and guitar teacher. I tried two other guitar teachers prior to Tom and they didn’t work out for me. Tom is a natural teacher he’s got it, he just seems to make learning easy.

I have spent a majority of my life playing the guitar on and off the stage, in the recording studio, and everywhere else in between. I attended Berklee College of Music and studied performance and music business. I have been lucky enough to work along side Grammy winning producers, and have performed at major music festivals such as SXSW, Bonnaroo, and Boston Calling. I teach all styles of guitar and specialize in blues and rock styles. Whatever techniques you want to learn I can teach them.

About Matt

When I started to play guitar, I did not know very much about the guitar or how to read music. Matt taught me pretty much everything since the beginning and I enjoyed it a lot. He went over the basics with the acoustic, then we went onto the electric. He understands this instrument very well with different techniques. He is also very patient, kind, and willing to help anybody. He's really the best out there.
Jake
I've taken guitar lessons from three different teachers and what I learned in the two years Matt has taught me definitely has improved my playing, songwriting, and musical interest like nothing else. This guy understands good songwriting and performance as well as just shredding. He's a nice guy and loves to talk music too, and he'll really work with you at any skill level and at any pace you are comfortable with.
Ben
When I moved to Boston one of the first shows I went to was a band called Grey Season. I was blown away by Matt's Guitar playing. When I found out he gave lessons I immediately got in contact with him. Now, 3 years later, I can say that I've learned so much from lessons with Matt. He is not only an accomplished guitar player but an inspiring teacher who has been dedicated in helping me become a better blues guitarist and all around musician.

"We love how Lena teaches, she cares about each teaching and makes sure we understand the chords and what kind a of music we will playing. Lena is quickly to respond to any song request we may have even if she is not familiar with the song. Especially if it's in Spanish. She has been the best teacher ever. We have taken classes in her house which is good if you are starting. But now that we understand more of the chords and it's position we do online and it works well."

"Jacob has been my instructor for about 6 months and has been nothing short of stellar. I started taking classes with him as a beginner with very little musical knowledge prior to taking classes. Jacob knows a variety of musical styles and has helped me progress far in a short period of time. He's also a good communicator and is understanding when issues come up, and has been flexible to arrange different times for lessons when it has been necessary. I've taken classes from him both in person and online and he is great at both."

"Though I was only able to take lessons with Jason for a couple months due to an unexpected move, I was able to learn a lot from him. I came in with very little guitar experience and no background in music. His lessons are very accommodating and I felt I walked away a little bit better every time. Jason is a great guy and it is easy to share your goals and ideas for the future with him. When working with Jason it felt like a team effort in order to help me reach my goals. In the short time I took lessons with Jason I learned a lot about the guitar and I am excited to build upon the music career he helped me to start. A definite Recommendation."

"Keith is very knowledgeable, patient and methodical. By letting me play a few notes and asking a few questions, he already knew where I should start and had the whole study plan figured out. His lessons are very productive but not in an overwhelming way. After two classes, I actually already feel I've improved significantly. I'm getting more and more comfortable playing to musical notes, which I tried to teach myself several times but all failed. I finally feel I'm on the right track!"
