I have been driven to sing since the womb. I first discovered my talents at the age of 13 and have been a ROCKET ever since ! From singing solos in church choirs to auditioning for a performing arts school. I’ve realized my passion for my gift was only BEGINNING. I have not only had the opportunity to be apart of a wonderful concert, chamber choir for 3+ years , I’ve experienced music theory , vocal pedagogy, Piano 1,2 & competed in district and state solos , with a rate of 2 and 1! To being a lead 1st soprano. Overall I’ve taught others how to read , write , find their vocal range , I’ve also had the privilege to critique ,direct some of the various music selections such as jazz, opera, folk, classical etc.., for fellow individuals , classmates , peers. When it comes to music the drive I bring to the table is knowledgeable, & fun with a intent to grow and follow your passion!

Opera is my first love, and I love helping students learn and experience their voices for the first time in this beautiful art form. I also have a keen ear for experienced singers, and have a holistic approach to singing and breathing to help iron out problems in the voice.

About Laura

Music is definitely the universal language, and there isn't a genre I don't love; it's important to me that that aspect be brought to lessons, as well! From humble New Jersey beginnings to an opera career, I've seen the power of what music can do! Whether it's opera, musical theater, folk, rock,

Pamela is great, very professional and welcoming. This was my daughter's first voice lesson ever and she was super excited when it was over. Looking forward to the next lesson. Highly recommended.

I have had a vocal coach before meeting Pam, but she absolutely took it to another level. Pamela does a good job with teaching the mechanics of singing, as she pin points which muscles the body is using and how to use them properly when singing. She has a variety of warm ups and stretches to get your voice and body prepared to perform and is very good and pushing you to become your best. If you are a serious singer and would like to take the knowledge of your craft a step further, I would definitely recommend.

We are so happy with Pamela, she has helped my daughter maximize her talents. Alayna finally was accepted into the singing group at her high school which is very competitive. We are thrilled!! Thanks Pamela :)

Kim has been my vocal coach for almost two years now and I can't begin to express the growth I've had as both a singer and an actress in my time with her. She not only articulates the language behind vocal technique in a concise, comprehensive way but she also is excellent with providing visuals in order to help you become more in tune with connecting your mind to your body. I strongly feel that I began receiving more callbacks once I started working with Kim. She's a gifted vocal instructor and COACH. She has worked with me on my cuts and monologues enabling me to construct the perfect audition package for whatever show or company I am auditioning for. Kim has also provided me with technique to tackle being able to go back and forth comfortably between my contemporary and classical styles, which has been a goal of mine for quite some time. Overall I am beyond thankful to be able to work with Kim. She has helped to mold me into the performer I am today and continues to be a mentor that I can confide in for professional advice. -Allie Boettcher

I've sang with at least half a dozen private voice coaches. Between all of the private teachers and the amazing staff at SDSU, Kim has been my all time favorite coach to work with. As a gigging singer and contemporary songwriter now making my break into Musical Theatre, Kim has been incredibly helpful for me in all aspects of my performance and composition. While working with Kim in a training session, without fail, she warms my voice up to a point of feeling I am using my breathe at optimal efficiency and my voice feels free and clear; the way I want it to hear. From that point we are able to work on anything I'm preparing for a gig from Rock, Soul & Pop to fine tuning a song I'll be performing in a Musical or for an Audition. Beyond an outstanding knowledge of the voice and the ability to help me further understand my own, Kim has offered an additional aspect of her teaching that I value immensely. Kim has been the most creative teacher I have had the pleasure of working with. Often during a lesson, I will ask for help with an original song I am writing. Never before have I come into contact with a teacher who offers such creative new insight into my own work! All of her suggestions have brought new color and depth to my compositions. Kim has such a vibrant and positive energy that it is contagious. She shows genuine excitement in working with her students and will be greatly missed here on the West Coast. On the other hand, I know exactly who to look to if I need a tune up or some creative input anytime I am in the New York area!-Brent Hollingworth

Kimberly is amazing. I am very grateful to have met and connected with such a talented and experienced vocal instructor. When I am in a lesson, she gets me to reach notes I never thought I could reach. One of the best things about her is that she is all about using your voice safely. Right after singing for her for the first time, she could immediately identify all my strengths and weaknesses. We worked on the correct way of breathing while singing, especially when belting. Just after a few lessons I could notice the difference in my voice. I mainly consider myself an actress and started working with Kimberly to improve my singing ability. While teaching me the proper vocal technique, she also showed me how to marry my singing and acting together. Kimberly truly cares about what style you are interested in as a performer. She helps you to search for music and songs that best fit your voice. I admire this as I have been motivated to do my research and further expand my knowledge in musical theatre. Kimberly is very genuine and personable. She is very knowledgeable and I know I can email her at any time to ask her any questions I may have about the business. Even though I have only known her for a short amount of time, I have developed a friendship and feel I have known her for years.

I'm an experienced classically trained singer who was looking for a professional to help me refine my instrument and correct some technique issues. I am thankful to have found this instructor. 5 stars!"

"This was our daughter’s first class with Natasha. She had had only a few months of formal lessons before meeting with Natasha. I was impressed with how Natasha started by grounding her in the basics of good stance and breathing, not rushing into a lesson but making sure she understood the principles. Natasha has a friendly, engaging personality that immediately puts you at ease. Looking forward to seeing where this path takes my kiddo!"

"I wrote a review several months ago after my first lesson. I have been taking lessons once a week with Michelle and Robert for several months now and felt it was time to write another review. I listened to a recording of my last lesson and compared it to my first lesson. Wow, what a difference! I couldn't believe it was me on the recording! My voice has developed a powerful and refined quality it never had before. My singing has become effortless and my range has expanded greatly and continues to expand. I can't recommend them enough. I look forward to every lesson because not only are they amazing vocal coaches, they are the nicest people you will ever meet. They are enthusiastic, encouraging, fun, and quite hilarious. My lessons always end too soon and I always improve upon my technique in some way after each lesson. I had taken voice lessons before many, many years ago and the experience was not so great. I found Michelle and Robert through an online search and decided to give them a try and I won the vocal coach lottery. I couldn't have found two better coaches. Wherever you are in your vocal training--whether you're just starting out or looking to improve upon your technique--I am convinced that Robert and Michelle will be able to help you."

"I just had my first lesson with Michelle and Robert and I cannot wait for my next one. They provide insightful feedback, explain the importance of what they are teaching you in regards to your voice and are extremely encouraging and engaging during the whole process. They both have extensive knowledge and experience and are flexible in their teaching methods to ensure that you will understand what they are asking of you. In just the one lesson I already felt an improvement in my singing technique. I still have a long way to go, but I am confident in their ability to get me there. I highly recommend them."

"This was my first experience with voice lessons, and Cris the best teacher I could have hoped for! He has introduced me to all sorts of music techniques that I’m sure I will need when I leave to study music in college, and he helped me to prepare any vocal requirements I might have to fill. He is always patient, knowledgeable, and easy to get along with; and he has inspired me to continue studying opera in the future. I would highly recommend him for any level of vocalist! :)"

8 Beautiful Opera Arias for Beginner Singers

It is always exciting when a vocal student is ready to start studying his or her first operatic aria! One of the best things about being a classical singer is knowing you have so many great years ahead of you. After all, you’re considered in your prime in your 40s. That being said, realize that the voice you have now and the repertoire you’ll first study will be very, very different from what you sing later on in your career. It’s absolutely crucial that you sing repertoire that is …
