First time my 9 year old son has played a guitar and he is really enjoying learning with his teacher. Julian seems very experience and knowledgeable, he is very patient with his students and teaches them at their level and understanding. He encourages my son to practice and praises him for his accomplishments. I would highly recommend Julian as the teacher for your son/daughter.

I'll get right to the point. Paul's personality made it extremely easy for me not only to be comfortable but to feel really appreciated. I was fearful that Paul may feel like, "oh great another person who THINKS he has something but can't sing a lick!" I experienced the exact opposite. Within 15 minutes he located what has been my most frustrating issue. I felt like I was already ahead of the game and we hadn't even started yet! Paul has the rare balance of a sense of humor and still following an agenda to meet my goal. Thanks to Paul I really feel like I can, and WILL reach all my goals. AND enjoy the journey to them!! Can't wait for the next lesson!

That bone crushing riff, the iconic solo, an instantly recognizable reverb-laden intro: everyone has guitar hero fantasies, and it's my goal to bring students from 'if only I could play that' to actually playing. But I go further than just teaching riffs and solos: I focus on learning songs and teaching basic chord and scale theory to develop technical ability and improvisational technique. I also believe learning is exponentially easier when students enjoy the songs they play, so ideally all learning material is based off of the student's individual music library. I aim to help you get that song out of your head and into your hands.

About Cole
I'm a student at Washington University by way of Chicago. I currently play bass in a jazz combo on campus, and also trade off roles as guitarist and bassist for a house band for a sketch comedy show. I've been playing for over ten years, and have been teaching lessons back home for the last three.

I spent the last four years working for Reverb.com, the world's largest online musical instrument marketplace, where I contributed guitar-related web content and served as an authority on vintage guitar knowledge.

I have been a guitarist for the past 5 years, becoming well versed in Rock, Funk, Blues, Jazz, Indie, pop, disco, country, and folk styles. I also offer the tools to students to not only learn the material I present to them well but also be able to teach themself through the use of ear training and exposure to many different types of musical situations. This will allow an outlet for the student to not only be playing the songs they’re learning(good way to keep the student Interested) but also gives them exsposure to real life playing situations! I also cater to the tastes of the student and will help them learn the styles they are interested in as well as exposing them to new types of music.

About Shane
I am a 19 year old guitarist in the South coast area, who is very dedicated to spreading the knowledge I have obtained through multiple different teachers through the past 5 years Ive been studying. I have a lot to offer musically but only wish to nurture the students growth to allow them to realize their potential may go far beyond what they had originally thought. I hope to help many students on this website delve into the realm of guitar!

Have you ever wanted to play an instrument or sing? Do you have a genuine passion for music? My lessons properly prepare students for what is needed to execute their journey as a musician. Lessons will be customized to meet the needs of the students. I have five years of teaching students from ages five to fifty and over twenty years of experience as a musician. Students will learn core music essentials such as music theory, ear training, sight reading, and more. And for songwriters I offer lessons on songwriting and structuring.

About Kwame
Hello, my name is Kwame. I have been a musician for over twenty years. I started out in music when I was in grade school and have continued my musical journey throughout my adulthood. I have five years of experience teaching a wide range of age groups. Adjacent to being a musician, I am also a singer and songwriter. I have been involved with many of local and semi-professional bands in the surrounding area and perform from time to time as a solo artist or with a group. My mission as a musical teacher is to preserve the art of making music and pass it down as it was taught to me. I feel music is a very necessary element that makes the world go round!

Kwame is a great instructor!! He is knowledgeable about the craft he teaches and is great at explaining things in a comprehensible manner. My daughter is young, and his teaching method provided her with the skills and confidence to learn you how play. She went from not liking to play as much to not being able to stay away from a piano.

I enjoy giving lessons tailored to each student's needs and goals. From those who have never picked up a guitar to those who are auditioning for a major music college, I love to help others learn how amazing the guitar is.

My style is geared toward the individual, but I do specialize more in teaching: songwriting on guitar, music theory on guitar, developing great technique, how to read notes and tab on guitar, and learning my student's favorite songs and adapting them to fit their skill level.

I have been teaching guitar for over twelve years, and have professional songwriting experience (over 50 compositions published), band and recording experience (major radio-play in America and Europe), and I am classically trained and have a degree in music.

Let me help you achieve your music dreams!
