Jeanmarie helped me to learn the proper way to hold the cello and the bow. She watched carefully to be sure I maintained that throughout the lesson. I am pleased that she is going to be sure I learn to play the cello well to prevent injuries. She also gave me some very basic bowing and finger exercises to practice this first week so I begin to build correct muscle memory before I go on to working with sheet music.

We’ve been lucky to have Mary Alice work with our 13 year old daughter for the past 6 months. Mary Alice chooses songs that my daughter loves and is eager to master.
