I have been teaching this subject for over 8 years. I have a Doctorate of Musical Arts degree in Vocal Performance and a minor in Vocal Pedagogy. Classical Voice is my forte, as I am an opera singer. My students can expect vocal technique through warmups, appropriate repertoire selection, language guidance, and an integration of singing and acting (performance skill) appropriate for auditions.

Opera is an amazing art form; the human voice can be so focused that it can carry over an entire orchestra with no amplification. Whether you aspire to this art form or not, it is great to learn how to support and project your voice and to keep it healthy for a lifetime of singing enjoyment.
I recommend adults take from 45 minutes to 1 hour lessons weekly for skill building. The price of lessons DECREASES by 10% after each 5 lesson purchased for the first 15 lessons.

I teach a very detailed technique that will help you enrich your voice and achieve a wide vocal range using chest, head and falsetto registers with smooth transitions between registers, with accurate pitch, sustainable tone production, a clear frontal resonance mixed balanced by a rich throat resonance, coordination between breathing phonation, and resonance, clean articulation in English, German, French and German.

I am unique because of my combined musical and medical backgrounds. In addition to my graduate and undergraduate musical training and extensive musical experience, I was a surgeon and taught anatomy and physiology. Part of my medical training included studying the mechanics of how the body works and its application. We absolutely LOVE music and your teacher, Suzanne, is an active performer and full time musician. You can take voice lessons, piano lessons, or a one hour COMBINATION lesson. You will have a PIANIST at all voice lessons. You will have OPTIONAL PERFORMING CLASSES once a month and recitals in the fall and spring. You will develop CONFIDENCE and MEMORIZATION skills.
