Having had the training to sing Opera and performing in them, I understand how that is supposed to work and the amount of breath control that you need to do it well. If you are a beginner we will start off small and work our way up and if you and more of an intermediate singer, we will see how much farther we can get you to go.
About Nicole
As a voice teacher and voice coach, I strive to help the student get to where they want to be vocally. For me, singing is something that brings me joy and I hope to be able to share that with you. It took me a while to realize how much music and singing means to me. While studying something en

With over 10 years of teaching and performance experience, I can help you reach your goals. My teaching is very much influenced by my certification in Somatic Voicework™ The Lovetri Method. It is a body-based method of vocal training which is based upon voice science and medicine, traditional classical training, and various bodywork approaches. If you're struggling in a particular area of your voice, I can help you work through those issues.
About Cindy
Regardless of where your musical interests lie, I can help you improve your skills! Growing up, I fell in love with playing and singing all styles of music! I've delved into classical, jazz, R&B, soul, gospel, reggae, soca, pop and musical theater, and I can teach you how to apply proper technique

am a classically-trained opera singer. I have a Bachelors and Masters in Vocal Performance and Vocal Pedagogy (teaching), and have sung professionally in the U.S. and Europe. I have sung Opera, Operetta, Musical Theater and Concerts, as well as choral and cantorial singing. I have been teaching voice since 1980, and have worked with all ages of singers, singing all kinds of music. Breathing is the most important element for every type of singing, to support the voice and produce the best sound. For each student, I strive to help them breathe better, so they can sing at their best and enjoy their singing more. I speak and read 5 languages, which helps me teach my students correct pronunciation of their song texts.

Mrs. B is a wonderful and dedicated teacher who focuses diligently during class sessions. She thoroughly explains terms and technique and is friendly and sociable. Her extensive knowledge of languages comes extremely useful in Italian arias and other folk songs as to explain the meanings of words and to convey motion. Her classes are enjoyable and fun, while still being comprehensively academic.

I teach a very detailed technique that will help you enrich your voice and achieve a wide vocal range using chest, head and falsetto registers with smooth transitions between registers, with accurate pitch, sustainable tone production, a clear frontal resonance mixed balanced by a rich throat resonance, coordination between breathing phonation, and resonance, clean articulation in English, German, French and German.
I am unique because of my combined musical and medical backgrounds. In addition to my graduate and undergraduate musical training and extensive musical experience, I was a surgeon and taught anatomy and physiology. Part of my medical training included studying the mechanics of how the body works and its application. In addition to the traditional methods such as imagery and mimicry that all singing teachers use, I will help you understand your body - precisely how to produce and resonate your tone, and how your breathing really works in conjunction with tone ...

Popular Opera Voice Articles from our Blog
It is always exciting when a vocal student is ready to start studying his or her first operatic aria! One of the best things about being a classical singer is knowing you have so many great years ahead of you. After all, you’re considered in your prime in your 40s. That being said, realize that the voice you have now and the repertoire you’ll first study will be very, very different from what you sing later on in your career. It’s absolutely crucial that you sing repertoire that is …
