I've been a writing, recording, performing and touring artist for 21 years now. I play in a national band and also do singer/songwriter solo work.
All of it came from learning how to play the guitar. I firmly believe that anybody can learn this, if they want to put in the work and effort. I guess the saying is: ''you don't work music, you play it, but it takes work to learn to play it''. Anyways, I've gathered a lot of experience over the years and still learning everyday. I really enjoy the teaching aspect of music and to make those musical connections with people. I think Keith Richards said it best when asked about the best part of being a musician,: ''you pass it on''. I will stand by that. Looking forward to meeting you!

About Lars

My name is Lars and I am looking forward to teaching you guitar. I've been teaching guitar for 7 years. I believe that anybody can learn to play well, if they work hard, stick with it and have a passion for it. Because I did. It took a lot of work for me and did not come easy. It's never easy, nor

I've been learning from Lars for the past 6 years, and it has been a great time. He knows what he is doing, and does anything to make sure that the student gets the best instruction.

Hi i'm Everett and i'm 16, I've been working with Lars for a few years now, He' been helping me write and make my own songs, even taking me to a professional recording studio to have the songs recorded. He's very good at communicating with me and helping me become my own guitar player and having taught me from not knowing a single thing, To being able to play with confidence. I would highly recommend him!

I have been playing guitar since I was 14, and have been performing and teaching for over 20 years.
I studied jazz guitar, composition, and theory at the Mannes Conservatory in NYC, NY., and also with several private teachers.
I teach many styles, including rock, pop, blues, folk, and jazz.
(I do NOT play classical or flamenco.)
I tailor my lessons to meet the interests and learning styles of my students. I teach playing by ear, music reading, tablature, and theory. I enjoy teaching students of all ages - children, teens, and adults.
I make lessons fun for young children, by including some musical games and activities. With teens and adults, I have the students choose the songs and styles they wish to work on, and go from there.

About Linda

I have been teaching music (guitar, bass guitar, keyboard, banjo, mandolin, ukulele, recorder, music theory, and classes for toddlers, preschoolers, school-aged children, and adults) for over 20 years. I am also a band/show director at the School of Rock! In addition to teaching music, I also tut

I am a guitarist and music educator based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Although more known as a jazz guitarist, I am rooted in rock, blues, classical, and finger-style genres. I'm a masters student at the University of North Texas where I work as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. I have over a decade of teaching experience and have developed a rigorous curriculum that focuses on many aspects of music including technique, improvisation, theory, ear training, and reading. I teach beginning through advanced students and will work with you to meet your musical goals.

About Ivan

When his father took an expatriate assignment in the Fiji Islands in 2005, Ivan moved overseas with his family. They couldn't take their piano with them so he picked up the guitar instead. Since returning to the US, Ivan has worked hard to develop his own unique voice as an artist. Ivan is rooted i

Every musician was first and foremost a fan of music. My love of music began when my mother took me to a performance of Beethoven's fifth symphony when, coincidentally, I was five. From that point, I started fervently listening to my mother's records (those are the huge, black monstrosities t

"Joe is an excellent teacher

I have been studying for more than a year. Joe is extremely versatile and is able to teach any style of music. He emphasizes spending short periods of time each practice session doing exercises that strengthen your fingers by playing chords up and down the fretboard, but does'nt go overboard with repetitive drills. He has genuine love of music and is great iat intertwining theory with actual songs. I have enjoyed my lessons and highly recommend him for students begining to play as well as advanced students."
