Tom is very patient with younger students that get distracted easily. One of my children is very interested in learning Irish folk music and Tom is great about helping him explore his interests in music. I love having lessons in home. It's very convient and allows me to keep my toddler entertained while my other children are doing lessons. Lessons are also affordable. I would definitely recommend Tom!

I want to have you walking out of the lesson happy, and excited to go home and practice some new material. With me you'll learn about guitar, but you'll also learn about music and how playing can help you in life (perseverance, basic math foundations, etc.)

About Chris

I am a jazz guitarist based out of beautiful Los Angeles, California. I received and Associate of Arts degree in Music in 2015, and have been pursuing a bachelors in Jazz Studies since then.

While in community college I really grew into my own as a musician and discovered that I love jazz and the language of bebop. Not only the music, but the history of how it formed as well as the differences from classical music. When at school I stood out from the other guitarists because I was hungry to learn and that attitude will hopefully follow me for the rest of my life.

Thats what I'd hope to pass on the students; that knowledge, be it music, english, math, physiology, etc. is the key to everything. And that it doesn't have to be all stuffy and boring! I tailor my lessons to the student whether its guitar, piano, ukulele, etc. and my main

objective is to learn and have fun, so the learning is reinforced with good natured thoughts. This will set up the student to actually want to practice!

As a musician I've been in a couple of groups, and lately I have been concentrating on my students as well as continuing school in 2020. I also try to utilize the computer to produce when possible so I can learn about that aspect of music. My passion is improvisation/composition, because I hope to one day leave songs behind that people can play forever and be influenced by them like so many have influenced me.

Every musical success begins with a small note - HR

I have created my own program to teach students from beginner to Advanced levels, I wrote it myself. I wish I would've had a program like that when I began my musical journey with the guitar, I have arranged the subjects in a special order that makes easy the learning process for my students. I like to demystify all theoretical and practical concepts applied to the guitar so the student can easily understand chords, scales, techniques, harmony, improvisation and other subjects that usually take years to master. My goal is to translate all this knowledge at the student's own pace, yielding quick results in 3-6 months.

Private Acoustic Guitar Teacher

Learning the guitar can be very difficult for some people in the beginning. With my teaching style, I find and work with the understanding aspect of the student first. Once I see where the student is. Then I can better understand how to help them grow in their passion for learning guitar. I will help teach the basics of picking, strumming, timing, cords, notes and playing the strings fingerstyle as well. Of course, this all depending on what kind of music the student wishes to learn. Learning more than one style to play guitar is always a plus within any style of music. You can quickly be able to listen and play along with some of your favorite tunes. I will usually start with some classic tunes to help warm up your fingers and strumming abilities. Then as you progress, you'll begin to learn more about the structured patterns with more advanced strumming, fingering and soloing techniques. Within your daily lessons, you will also learn to read and write tablature of your favorite songs

About William

I have taught, mainly music and English for the past 22 years now. I've always been patient when it comes to helping people understand and achieve their goals. I strongly believe that Patience and Repetition is the key to learning almost anything. I like to see students progress in what they love most. So seeing a student go from knowing nothing on guitar. To playing a song the same day is like inner gold for me. Nothing pleases me more than to see them open their eyes and inner abilities to accomplish doing something they love. Showing something as simple as an E chord can open so many doors for a student when it comes time to learn another chord. The student's full attention and enthusiasm will be ready and willing to learn which makes it easier to complete the lesson with confidence, for both the student and the teacher. So I look forw

ard to helping you learn the guitar at your own pace. And I also look forward to seeing you grow in your abilities each time we have a lesson together. Here's to your success!!!

I personally have not had a guitar lesson from Jameson, I'm a drummer myself, but I wanted to say what I know. I've seen this fella play many, many times, and I know those that taught him when he was younger. He is an excellent guitar player and a super good dude. He comes from a long line of musicians and educators in his family. I'm certain he would be an excellent choice as someone from whom to take lessons.

"What I like about lessons with Greg:
1. He has a great personality and is very enthusiastic and understanding, which makes any struggles during lessons l

2. He tailors your lessons to what *you* are interested in. (While teaching the fundamentals you will need to make your goals happen)
3. He is always thinking of new ways to revolutionize lessons and peoples' perspectives on music.
I really enjoyed my lessons with Greg and you will, too!"

"My daughter is 10 years old and began taking lessons with Tyler in January of 2018. Tyler is a patient and enthusiastic instructor that is able to challen
ge kids but still make learning fun. In a very short time my daughter was able to play songs and even performed with Tyler for some music store promos. His knowledge of music is extensive yet he is able to convey that knowledge at varying experience levels. Tyler is a great instructor!"

"I've been taking lessons from Ahmad for a couple years and can say he is a very engaging and knowledgeable instructor. Ahmad is experienced in many diffe
rent styles of music and can help you to play anything you want. He will also show you the techniques necessary to play any song and the theory to go along with it. It's a bit overwhelming, as learning guitar isn't an easy process, but Ahmad is more than capable of guiding you wherever you want to go.

Ahmad was recommended to me by a co-worker but prior to discovering him I researched a few other instructors. Ahmad seems to be quite generous with his time and fees compared to other instructors I researched. He is also very flexible when it comes to teaching venue and will teach at your house if desired.

Based on my experience over the past two years I can highly recommend Ahmad Lee if you are looking for guitar instruction."
