I have trained for 7 years with a variety of teachers. I currently go to NYU for a BM in Vocal Performance/Musical Theatre. I have been taught to sing classically, musical theatre, pop, etc and can teach any style you want! My voice teacher got her Doctorate at Juilliard so learning from me will come a lot from there. I love teaching people how to find their voice since singing is my passion. Lessons with me will be fun as well as informational. Lessons with me will ensure you have a voice in how you want to learn and what is best for you.

I have been teaching voice for 17 years now. I have taught to students aged between 17 - 60 and also have worked with children aged between 4 - 14 and helped them get into children choruses in opera houses as well as preparing them later for conservatory auditions. As i am also a biodynamic breathwork trauma release system therapist , miyofascial energy release massage therapist and holding meditation workshops , i have a deeper understanding of body pressure , tension release . I also use human voice to release trauma combined with breathwork and use breath and bodywork to use voice as a whole instrument. Through these techniques i can also help you find a real connection with your heart center and work on your music through these techniques. Great singing comes from being the song itself , staying in the flow , releasing and freeing yourself with the air , while you are balanced in your body and in the spine. It is all about feeling yourself more comfortable in your being and to be ...

The Opera Voice Track focuses on opera and classical art song repertoire. You'll study songs in Italian, German, and French, as well as English. Your repertoire will reflect the evolution of classical music, with pieces spanning opera history -- Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Modern.
You will learn vocal technique to help you reach your singing goals! Some areas we may focus on include vowel shape, space, breath support, forward placement, register blending, muscle relaxation, and vocal anatomy.
My style of breath support focuses on mastery of the intercostal muscles, the muscles that expand and contract the ribs. By exercising these muscles, you can gain more control of your exhalation and breathe more efficiently!

I took lessons with Stacey during my senior year of high school. Studying voice with her improved not only my overall musicianship, but my confidence in what I specifically had to offer as a musician. Stacey helped prepare me for my college voice auditions. So, if you're looking for a teacher who is extremely talented, personable, and will push you to succeed, I highly recommend studying with Stacey."

It is always exciting when a vocal student is ready to start studying his or her first operatic aria! One of the best things about being a classical singer is knowing you have so many great years ahead of you. After all, you’re considered in your prime in your 40s. That being said, realize that the voice you have now and the repertoire you’ll first study will be very, very different from what you sing later on in your career. It’s absolutely crucial that you sing repertoire that is …
