Stephanie is absolutely amazing!!!! I originally went to school for music, but have not sung in a very long time (talking years) and had forgotten most of what I had learned. I was graduate assistant for 1 semester to Opera Theatre at the University of South Florida. I can prepare for Auditions and help you develop a repertoire of classical vocal literature. As a member of the National Association of teachers of Singing and former performer and adjudicator for their student auditions, I agree that only well prepared high school students should attempt opera literature. However, there are many other classical challenging pieces available to younger students.

Mrs. Hauck is an excellent piano instructor, she focuses on technique and the historical value of the music she teaches to create greater depth and connection with each lesson. Mrs. Hauck is extremely approachable and sensitive to Andrea’s pace and learning abilities, she explains each lesson thoroughly and I couldn’t be happier to have her as my daughter’s instructor.
Andrea wanted to be part of the review and wrote the below:

I am a student of Mrs. Mary. I have been doing piano with her for over a year. She is very good at explaining the material when I am confused, she takes the time to make sure I know what I am about to play. Mrs. Mary is very patient, she does not get mad or frustrated when I do not play the piano piece correctly, she just tells me to play it again and explains what mistakes I made. Mrs. Mary is very kind and caring. She is a very good piano teacher!

Mrs H is a great teacher. Very patient and encouraging. She really understands how to get me to excel.
Samantha

Jennifer is a wonderful piano teacher. She is patient, experienced and genuinely passionate about music. My daughter was playing the piano since day one and continues to make progress beyond my expectations. I will strongly recommend Jennifer as a piano instructor.

Sincerely, Clara.

She was my teacher at Dunedin Highland Middle School, or for the short time she was there. I was in the orchestra program and played violin. She was a brand new teacher at the time and had no experience teaching middle school students. She did not teach or rehearse at all and in the middle of my seventh grade, she left for around 4-5 months for some strange reason. We did not do anything orchestra related until she had a semi-permanent sub come it for the rest of the year. Renfroe then decided she wanted to reappear at the end of the year for our last concert. She never really taught well. I never learned any new things from her.

Professional singer looking for some new students! I have been singing operatically for 10 years and I've been supported by organizations such as Houston Grand Opera, Seagle Music Colony and Northwestern University. I am so excited to support you in anything music/theater--from interpretation, to reading music, to having fun, to improving your vocal health and technique! If you are interested in a technical lesson, my current technique is a mold of what is taught at Chicago Lyric Opera and from the Marlena Malas school of teaching. Let's make some music!

I have been teaching this subject for over 8 years. I have a Doctorate of Musical Arts degree in Vocal Performance and a minor in Vocal Pedagogy. Classical Voice is my forte, as I am an opera singer. My students can expect vocal technique through warmups, appropriate repertoire selection, language guidance, and an integration of singing and acting (performance skill) appropriate for auditions.

"I am a retired opera singer that has studied with some of the best teachers and coaches in the world. Most of the year, my husband and I are in the South of France, but when in town, I still try stay sharp and perform at recitals. Asuka has introduced me to new singing techniques which have allowed me to preserve my voice at my age, while maintaining strength. It's really refreshing to learn new techniques that some of the older teachers don't know about. It has done a world of good as my voice doesn't get tired anymore."

8 Beautiful Opera Arias for Beginner Singers

It is always exciting when a vocal student is ready to start studying his or her first operatic aria! One of the best things about being a classical singer is knowing you have so many great years ahead of you. After all, you’re considered in your prime in your 40s. That being said, realize that the voice you have now and the repertoire you’ll first study will be very, very different from what you sing later on in your career. It’s absolutely crucial that you sing repertoire that is …
