I have been teaching guitar for 23 years. I emphasize the details of good technique and reading music skills. I have been teaching for over 11 years and performing in various bands for over 25 years. I attended the Berklee College of Music as a guitar major. I offer a core curriculum as well as customizing the to the student's interest. Learn to play favorite songs as well as basic technique, theory and music reading.

My name's Alex Ivanov, I'm a 24 year old guitarist and alumni of Berklee College of Music. I've been a guitar instructor for 6 years, who's taught students in Boston and Orlando. I'm proficient with styles, ranging from Rock, Blues, Classical, Pop, Metal, Jazz, Rockabilly, Country, Latin and Reggae.

I teach Beginner level students to Advanced, and everything in between.
For Beginners, I maintain a fun and manageable curriculum of easy and quick to learn songs!
For more experienced players, I implement music theory into learning songs. The goal is to not only learn music note for note, but to understand the function of these notes and how they relate to chords and scales!
