I have trained for 7 years with a variety of teachers. I currently go to NYU for a BM in Vocal Performance/Musical Theatre. I have been taught to sing classically, musical theatre, pop, etc and can teach any style you want! My voice teacher got her Doctorate at Juilliard so learning from me will come a lot from there. I love teaching people how to find their voice since singing is my passion. Lessons with me will be fun as well as informational. Lessons with me will ensure you have a voice in how you want to learn and what is best for you.

I have been teaching this subject for over 8 years. I have a Doctorate of Musical Arts degree in Vocal Performance and a minor in Vocal Pedagogy. Classical Voice is my forte, as I am an opera singer. My students can expect vocal technique through warmups, appropriate repertoire selection, language guidance, and an integration of singing and acting (performance skill) appropriate for auditions.

Over the past 12 years, we've given over 3,000,000 lessons to happy customers around the world.

I just started lessons with Anna-Lisa. She was able to diagnose my weakness, adjust my posture, give me different execerises to work on, help me to improve my tone, release tension and sing higher notes, woohoo!
I'm so glad that I found her, thanks Anna-Lisa, I can't wait for my next lesson with you!"

I have been taking lessons with Jordan for about 5 months, and she is really wonderful. She has helped me with my confidence and the growth of my range, and projection. I highly recommend!"

My high C/C6 came by early December, a couple of weeks after starting with Asuka. Some of this is my voice type, but I believe anyone who works with Asuka will see improvement.
I am taking lessons with a well-regarded pop teacher from the same time period and I've developed almost entirely from Asuka's lessons vs the other teacher, and quickly too with consistent practice. What Asuka teachers carries over to non-classical singing also.
Asuka is not rigid in her approach, thankfully, and she is so nice about the million things beginner singers can correct. I don't feel embarassed singing in front of her because she is non-judgmental.
I did some online lessons when she was traveling, and I got just as much out of them so even if I leave New York I will continue working with her."

She has immediately recognized by weak spots and put me to work on improving. She gave me a lot of Vocal warm ups to help where I'm not confident in, and never pushed me to the point of Vocal hurt. I absolutely loved working with her. She is very knowledgeable about the voice and knows her music and breaking things down!"

One of the best things about being a classical singer is knowing you have so many great years ahead of you. After all, you’re considered in your prime in your 40s. That being said, realize that the voice you have now and the repertoire you’ll first study will be very, very different from what you sing later on in your career. It’s absolutely crucial that you sing repertoire that is …
