When it comes to teaching, I place importance on the fundamentals of playing and writing while encouraging each student's personal musical interests. Learning to read and write music with an understanding of theory are important skills to gain when studying an instrument. After developing that foundation, I like to show my students how to push beyond the traditional rules of theory and writing through experimentation.
About Dominic
I started studying music in the fourth grade when I played clarinet in the school band. A couple years later, I began playing guitar and developing my musical identity by teaching myself to play songs by Nirvana, The Beatles, Green Day, and Hendrix. In high school, I took part in a yearly Rock 'n'

I'm Ahmad a very enthusiastic musician. I started out teaching myself guitar at the age of 12. I moved to the U.S. in 2001 and studied music for 15 years receiving my B.M. and M.M in music and audio production at San Francisco State University. I then moved to Los Angeles then studied and trained with John Mayer, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, George Lynch and many others. I have performed hundreds of concerts in the U.S. as well in Europe and the Middle East with Artists such as Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, Guns N Roses, Michael Angelo Batio, Ratt, Sammy Hagar, Dokken and many others. Highly Recommended!
He knows his music theory and has a great ear, which helps as he explains not only how a song goes, but the fundamental behind it. He also is very prepared with plans and practice sheets and tries to make lessons laid back and enjoyable.
Highly recommend taking lessons from this guy.

Charles is highly approachable and extremely knowledgeable. He walks the perfect line between making his students feel comfortable whilst also pushing them to become better in every single session.
I got a solid grasp of the basics of music theory and was able to fully improvise in different scales at the end of the course. The growth I had was tremendous - all thanks to Charles' guidance.
Charles will take the time to fully understand the needs, goals and struggles of his students. He will be there for them inside and outside of class time because he genuinely cares about music and his students becoming better.
