My students not only learn to play the guitar, but learn "why they are doing what they are doing!" I teach all ages and I am very patient. We can work as fast or as slow as you like. I believe lessons should be informative and fun at the same time. I teach each students the basics of note reading, chord theory and scales as these subjects relate to the guitar. I use varoius method books like Hal Leonard, The FJH Music, as well as method books for children.

Cameron is an excellent teacher for me. I am 11 years old and have been playing for almost a year with him. He is patient and makes me stretch to be a better guitarist. He takes time to find songs at my level of learning and accommodates my tastes in music. I would recommend him for anyone who is interested in playing guitar.

I enjoyed my first lesson with Cameron. He explained things clearly so I could understand. Can't wait for my next lesson.

A solid teacher with a lot of experience

Cameron is great at tailoring the lessons to my musical taste without compromising the theory, basics and fundamentals.
I have been taking lessons for one year and will not go elsewhere anytime soon. His vast musical knowledge helps merge the theory with concrete examples. No question remains unanswered.

If you are brand-new to the guitar, I'd love to jump right in and teach you a fun song right away during your first lesson. I like making this as fun as possible while you're learning a lot about the guitar. If you already know how to play, I'd like to help you gain a better understanding of how the guitar applies to basic music theory. I want to help you truly gain your independence as a guitar player. In my opinion, there are only two things that really matter when learning how to play the guitar: 1) Having fun and 2) Learning a lot. That's what I hope that you can attain by learning from me.

"Omar is an amazing guitar teacher!

We have been working through a challenging topic- learning Indian classical Raga's for the guitar. I feel that with every lesson i've been more inspired and walked away with new ideas (both technical and...philosophical). This is a type of music that I never thought was accessible to me but based on his talent as both a sitar player and guitar player i'm happy with the curriculum that he is providing me with. Thanks Omar!"

"Great Teacher - Very Knowledgable - Warm Environment

I contacted Melissa for Vocal & Choreography lessons. She was very knowledgable, thorough, and gentle during instruction. She really knows how to bring out the best in me -- I didn't think I could do it! We went over voice, diction, and scales as well as the music from the play I was in. I know I wouldn't have been able to perform on stage without her help. Thanks so much!"

"You gotta go to this guy.

I started taking lessons with Jason when I was only 9 years old. At age 13, I played my first show at a club in Baltimore. At 15, I played my first show at a club with my own band. At 18, I played at the Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago. None of these things would've been possible without Jason's guidance and teaching skill. He knew quickly what I wanted to do with guitar and put me on the road to doing it.

His experience is valuable in every aspect of playing guitar, really. Just a few months ago, I had an overuse injury in my arm from playing guitar. He just happened to have previously had the same injury himself, and his advice helped me overcome it in time for my tour in Chicago (disclaimer: he's not a doctor).

Do you need help with guitar maintenance? He can show you that. Wanna learn about songwriting? He does that, too. He does anything. Just let him know; he'll show you.

I plan on going to Jason for many more years."

"The Master! Greg is not only an excellent instructor, he’s completely approachable. What started of as a group lesson for my high school aged sons has turned into a highly customized online experience where they learn at their own pace. Greg has tremendous knowledge of guitar but more importantly understand the step-by-step methodology necessary to instruct. It’s building blocks and he manages to make that completely fun.

It’s been great to reconnect with you Greg. Thanks for all that you do and for the passion you bring to each lesson and each of my boys!"

"My 11 year old son has been taking guitar lessons from Grant for at least 6 months. We liked Grant's teaching style so much that we enrolled our 9 year old son for lessons as well. Grant keeps the lessons fun and interesting by choosing songs that they already enjoy to learn, while teaching fundamentals at the same time. He is patient when they may be having an "off" day, and he is extremely encouraging and positive in every single interaction. My boys think he's fun, and they've learned a lot from him."

Now I work from home and I took advantage of the situation to give it a try. It is an amazing experience to learn guitar on line with Andrea. He is prepared, punctual and he tailor each lessons to my needs and interestes. It is also fun to take a break from work without having to drive.
