You'll start playing your favorite songs on the first lesson. From there, we'll connect the dots between all these songs and you'll naturally begin to see patterns.

Playing songs that you love is very exciting, and by accomplishing this, you'll be eager to learn more each time. Unlike most guitar teachers, my lessons are not about memorizing and working on all the details - I don't want you to feel like you're doing work, you need to be excited if you want to stick with it!

Acoustic guitar is a great instrument to play with others, and thats exactly how it should be taught. Our lessons will include a lot of playing together, where you will learn how to take on the different roles of lead melody and rhythm/chords.

For those who want to sing their favorite songs (or write their own), I will teach you how to sing and play simultaneously, in a fun way that will give you the ability to learn any song on your own.

I'm a self-taught guitar player of 5 years. I've had experience playing in several bands and in college. I'm happy to teach any beginner!

I have been playing guitar for over 30 years, and have experience playing and teaching practically every style of guitar, including fingerstyle, classical, folk, jazz, rock, blues, pop, country, and metal. I have been teaching guitar professionally for 12 years, and have taught countless people how to play like they had only dreamed of... Let my experience and patience guide you on your way to mastering the guitar!

Students can expect comprehensive guitar instruction, including note reading, style, technique, and basic songwriting. I specialize in teaching fingerstyle, or fingerpicking.

From finger picking to tapped harmonics, I'll give you the tools to build a strong foundation and explain creative techniques to help you stand out from the crowd!
