That along with a study of the fundamentals of trumpet technique will get us started. Then we'll add the kind of songs that you like to play, and other great trumpet literature. Over 12 years experience as a brass coach and private lesson teacher.

Experienced Music teacher of 8 years available for eager students of all experience levels and ages! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation of their instrument and theory skills. I specialize in all styles. Typically, I use a variety of method books to pick from to meet the needs of the students. I also have many tools available to use during lessons.
My students have gone on to NYSSMA and on to college auditions successfully!

I couple traditional teaching with performances and offer professional student shows and concerts throughout the year to help enrich the experience! I like to meet students where they are in their musical journey and help them reach their goals. I let the student set their own pace for mastering new skills and work in the learning style that helps them obtain the most benefit from the lessons. I think leaning music should be fun and encouragement is key

I balance learning by ear with learning on sheet music. I also balance different genres and styles, including classical, jazz, and movie/pop tunes. With a strong foundation in classical/orchestral technique, you can apply your playing anywhere with ease!

I teach absolute beginners, intermediate and advanced students. I work with them on technique, strong fundamentals, sound production and the repertoire of band and orchestra music.
