Piano Lessons in unique because I have the discipline of a highly educated musician, but the critical thinking skills of a modern day entrepreneur.

I am a regularly performing musician who has memorized hundreds of songs and pieces, making it easy to train any student on the fly. Teaching lessons is NOT just learning notes on the page, it is playing music by ear, understating how music works, and understanding how the student learns.

I have been playing piano for over 10 years and am pursuing a degree in music education. I tailor all of my lessons to your specific needs so you'll be playing music in no time! Not only will you learn to play but you'll also build a solid foundation of sight reading, music theory, and ear training.

We'll have fun exploring the basics techniques of the piano while working on a dynamic repertoire together. The intention will be to get yourself to the next level of playing.

As a teacher, I strive to encourage, inspire and create an atmosphere for learning that is uniquely different for each of my students. My teaching style focuses on important skills but also emphasizes self-exploration and perhaps discovering a passion for something new. I have taught private piano lessons to beginner, intermediate, and advanced students for nearly 10 years. My music degree is from Berklee College of Music, and I have played piano for over 30 years. I enjoy helping children, teens, and adults find joy in making music with correct technique and a solid foundation in music theory.

Music is one of God's greatest gifts to us. Invest in your desire or ability to create it. I teach piano, violin, and viola. I have a Bachelor's degree in Music & Worship and a Masters in Teaching, and I'm a certified K-12 music teacher. I've taught individual music lessons for 7 years. I'm also a worship leader at a church and a songwriter/arranger for Red Tie Music. Music is my passion, and I'd love the opportunity to share it with you and your family.
