I am a regularly performing musician who has memorized hundreds of songs and pieces, making it easy to train any student on the fly. Teaching lessons is NOT just learning notes on the page, it is playing music by ear, understating how music works, and understanding how the student learns.

I am an undergraduate student at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor studying piano performance and philosophy, with a strong interest in piano pedagogy of all levels. In pursuing these two degrees, I believe in a well-rounded musical education that includes story-telling, connecting music to relevant history and literature, and developing an emotive connection to music beyond just the technical in ways that are fun and engaging, especially in the beginning stages of learning.

With teaching technique to beginners, I focus on fun exercises and activities that are easy for both the students and parents to understand and practice at home. This is Charlotte and I am a recent graduate in Piano Performance from the Jacobs School of Music. I am currently based in Bloomington and I would love to put forward my services as a piano teacher, accompanist and performer.
Whether you want to learn a few Disney tunes or a Beethoven sonata, I am excited to work on your project together, and help achieve your goals!
During the past two years, I have been an associate instructor in secondary piano, where I was entrusted with group classes and private students at IU. Since high school, I have worked with a lot of talented students from 3 to 30. During our lessons, we enjoy a lot of interactive activities and I really enjoy making progress together and growing together with my students.
As a musician, I am also actively seeking to grow. In 2019, I was named the alternate for the State of Indiana in the MTNA Competition. As a firm believer in positive social changes through arts and humanities, I have been engaged in ...
