Classical music is art music produced or rooted in the traditions of Western music. I teach music from the great classical composers such as: Antonio Vivaldi, Bach, Handel, Mozart, Beethoven and others.

About George
I am so glad you’re here!

The music lessons for young children are full of fun, interactive activities with iPads apps and traditional methods that not only help develop a strong musical foundation and build essential life skills, but offer a unique bonding experience for you and your child.

Discover for yourself why families love my innovative music lessons for kids.

YES! Music Matters!

The curriculum is built on research that proves MUSIC MATTERS. Music affects virtually every aspect of development and when young children are consistently engaged by music during the “musical window” they benefit at many levels.

What about private lessons?

Do I believe in private lessons? You bet! But I know from experience that private lessons are most valuable for older kids who have the ability to concentrate in a one-to-one setti
ng.

With this Private setting you will have a solid foundation in keyboard skills and music theory and typically excel quickly in their continued music education and when learning other instruments. The education and experiences a child has in my music program sets them up for success with private instruction.

Music Program

Builds spatial-temporal reasoning skills critical for greater success in math and science studies.

Music students out-perform non-music students on achievement tests in reading and math.

Music students receive more academic honors and awards than non-music students.

Develops social and emotional skills including the ability to relate to others and better express ideas, and less likely to have behavior/discipline problems.

I offer up to 2 recitals a year so that you can perform everything you know.

Feel free to reach out and let's setup some lessons.

Thank you, George F.

George, was very patient, kind, and seem very knowledgeable. He seems to understand the pedagogy of teaching to kids and realize they all learn differently. I personally think he went above and beyond for my Son first class and for our first introduction. He offered a more modern approach method of teaching music and Piano to my son who so far seem more receptive in learning and practicing. Will se where that take us but I am very please so far.

Mary was a fun and patient piano lesson teacher. I have never taken any music lessons before so we started with the basics but she did a good job of finding the pace that I learned at. She taught slow enough for me to catch on, but not too slow to where I felt like my 30 min lessons were a waste of time/money.

Unfortunately, I had to cancel the rest of my lessons with Mary because I was becoming too busy with work to stay committed to my lessons and practice. If I ever take lessons again I'll definitely sign up with Mary again, zero complaints.

Mary was amazing teacher for me, and she really sparked my passion for music. I had really just started clarinet when I began taking lessons from her, and I truly believe one of the reasons I am going into music is because of how she made me see it. In the short time that I was able to be her student I learned more than just the fundamentals, and have yet to find a teacher that I work with as well as I did with her. If I could take up lessons with her again, I would in a heartbeat.

Jackie is a phenomenal piano instructor. She is professional, energetic, patient, kind, and flexible yet consistent. My daughter was 6 1/2 years old when she started taking lessons with Jackie. We recently moved (when my daughter turned 11), and now we have to find a new piano teacher. Upon our move, we realized just how spoiled we were to have Jackie as a teacher. She makes all of her students feel loved and special.
Side note: it was fun during recitals to see how Jackie catered to her students' talents- some wanted to sing and write their own music, which she very much encouraged.

Are you new to music and wanting a well-rounded piano education? I am the gal for you! I have been teaching piano for 2 years and am eager to teach you music theory, history, as well as composition and improvisation all through piano! It won't just be a page by page method book lesson with me. We will do activities that are outside of the box and fit for any student at any age.

About Lexi
For Music Lessons:

My name is Lexi and I am a Music Education student at Belmont University.

I started my music career when I was just 5 years old and picked up a violin to which many squeaky sounds came out. I went on to learn the Suzuki method and Mariachi music. Since then I have learned piano, guitar, ukulele, bass guitar, clarinet, and voice. As a music ed student at Belmont, we are required to learn the basics in all orchestral instruments (e.g. trumpet, viola, percussion).

I will be graduating this December and plan on staying in Nashville. I have attended several Music Education Conferences and recently attended that Tennessee Arts Academy for Elementary Music Teachers. I do these to foster Professional Development and to gain great ideas from Music teachers across the country.

Let me teach you what you have been d
reaming to learn.

For Swimming Lessons:

I am CPR certified and there is a pool at my apartment complex that we can use for free!

I competitively swam and played water polo for seven years and have taught lessons for four years. I tailor the lessons to the student's needs. If you just want to learn how to efficiently keep yourself alive in the water, I can do that! If you want to learn how to bring your 100 fly time down, I can do that!

Let me help you become the fish you were meant to be.

I have studied under successful classical and jazz pianist at Brevard college where I received my BA in general music with a focus in percussion and a secondary in piano. I’m also a full time music educator and have taught ages 5-40. During the 2016-2017 school year I was the general elementary music teacher for Thunderbird Prep Academy where I was responsible for teaching over 400 children how to learn all of the fundamentals of piano and general music.

About Gavin Glover
Hello potential student or parent! I'm so excited that you've reached my profile for quite a few reasons:
I am a full time musician with a BA in General Music with a focus in percussion and a secondary in piano from Brevard College. I've been an elementary general music teacher, taught high school percussion sections, worked with children with special needs, played in a variety of orchestras, jazz bands, corporate bands, cover bands, and i've logged over 2,000 hours of studio recording time. I'm also in the process of starting my Masters of Percussion Performance very soon. To me, it's equally as important that I learn with and from my students to assist me in becoming the absolute best teacher I can be regardless of age or learning needs. On top of all of that, I don't think anyone should have to break the bank to learn an instrument.
My rates are very fair and i'm not just here to collect a check. Instead I want to create a world full of versatile musicians to develop skills that can translate to having good grades, finding a good job, and learning how to communicate in the real world. Music can do that with the right instruction. It's my goal to serve my students in a way that they can not only be more confident behind an instrument, but to truly love the craft I've dedicated my life to.
