James is a true master of the art and craft of singing. He does not only have vast knowledge of vocal techniques, exercises and methods, but also truly understands how to bring out a singing voice that connects with the listener. Very detailed oriented and clearly explains how to get best results. Highly recommended!

James has been a wonderful teacher. He has greatly helped me advance in my beginning cello skills by carefully observing, demonstrating as needed, then showing me the things I can do to improve. He does this in such a manner that instead of feeling discouraged, I am even more motivated to improve. I am learning cello as an adult simply for the fun of trying something new. My wife, who played flute on scholarship through college and some professionally has noticed, and commented, on the improvement. In summary, I highly recommend James for both adults and for kids. He just has a great knack for teaching.

She is amazing violinist and teacher. Best in Atlanta. She was trained by incredible violinists in Europe and I love her sense of humor. Don't settle for unqualified teachers, just listen to her recordings and read her qualifications. Four degrees... a doctorate etc.

Kyle is a great piano teacher! He is very patient with my 12-year old son. Just yesterday he referred to him as “fun Kyle” because he teaches him small songs on the side that he can show friends and family or are for upcoming holidays. He’s always punctual and respectful of our family and home. I’m grateful to have found him!

Lessons are tailored to fit each individual student's ability and goals. I believe in challenging students while maintaining a supportive and encouraging environment. Lessons will cover music theory, technique, and solo pieces. The goal is to develop in each student the specific skills needed to play a string instrument as well as to nurture an understanding and love for music.

Leah is a great teacher and makes lessons enjoyable. She made it easy to understand what changes I need to make to improve my technique. She gave me reasonable goals for my violin practice in the coming week. I really like her teaching methods and style. I look forward to our next session together.

"As a former professional musician with an undergrad in Music, my standards are pretty high when I'm selecting musicians to teach my kids. My son has been taking viola lessons with Regina for 2.5 years. She is professional but also down-to-earth and great to work with. My son, now an 8th grader, played a level 1 solo at the District and State ISSMA contests and earned a Gold at both levels--the only kid in his school to do so. We credit Regina for appropriately pushing him to be his best. You can be assured that when you choose Regina, you're choosing one of the very best teachers around."

"Taking lessons from Brian was an awesome experience and extremely beneficial for my solo and ensemble playing with viola. He does an excellent job giving fun and informative lessons that can stick with any student. Private lessons with Brian helped prepare me for the college level of playing that I’m at now and I highly suggest taking lessons from him no matter what age."

"I absolutely loved my viola lessons with Will! He began by asking questions and asking me to play a few things to gauge what level I was at. I came into these lessons after not having played for 15 years. He was very encouraging and very positive. I asked him to help me with my form in order to gain a better foundation, and he did so well at focusing on that and giving me such helpful pointers. He plays the viola and it was good to hear some of his experience. I also loved learning more of the background and history of the type of music and the techniques we went over. I feel like that adds so much depth to the learning experience. He is very knowledgeable as well as personable. He also never wasted any time during our lessons. He was very good at pacing us so we could get through the different things I had practiced, and yet I didn't feel rushed at all. I would highly recommend Will to anyone (no matter your level)! I was very pleased with my experience and will definitely seek him out for future lessons."

"If you’re looking for a dedicated, knowledgeable and patient strings teacher, you will love Mrs. Heins. Both of my sons have been taking lessons from Mrs. Heins for several years (one for viola and one for cello). They have learned so much under her instruction, such as earning All-County and All-State honors. They also practice their live performance skills twice a year during informal musical concerts. Mrs. Heins also offers participation in the Royal Conservatory Music Development program, which can earn your child credit for college. She is a gem and should you choose her, you won’t be disappointed."

"We have tried a few instructors for strings and they were not the right fit for us. We finally struck GOLD with Charles! Very professional, not at all condescending with his feedback (this was our problem with a couple others), taught my son things he has not learned in school in terms of correct form/placement of viola, and bow technique. We are very excited for the next lesson!"
