My passion is creating music and inspiring others to create music. I learned to read music at the age of 6 and shortly after started playing the trumpet. The opportunity to learn the language of music is such a great gift with many benefits beyond creativity. My passion is to give this opportunity to other young aspiring musicians. My goal is to guide each student according to their individual needs to reach their goals.

About Patrick

I began the trumpet at the age of 8 while in elementary school in Monroe, CT. I learned to read music at the age of 6 while playing the Tin Whistle. Irish music was offered at the Gaelic American Club my family was apart of. While in CT, I played with several groups: Litmus, an experimental jazz gr

I have been teaching music for over 10 years. I am a strong believer in making sure my students have strong fundamentals. The stronger your fundamentals the easier it is to play the way you want to play. I have a lot to offer a student that goes far beyond playing the instrument. I have a lot of experience helping students learn how to deal with performance anxiety and learn music theory.

About Jeremy

I have been teaching music for over 10 years now. I come from Indiana and I worked as a brass teacher for several state finalist high school marching bands. I believe that students need to feel free to make mistakes. When students feel comfortable it is easier for them to focus on getting better

Ray is an amazing teacher. My 11-year-old has high-functioning autism and has a great interest in learning music. I was hesitant to hire just any teacher, as many teachers don't have the patience and understanding to work with special needs kids. However, Ray has been not only patient, but he has an exceptional way of teaching my son in a way that he would understand and retain the information. Ray is creative, intuitive, and experienced. My son is very happy and enjoys the lesson every single time. Thanks Ray.

My first instruction from David O. couldn't have gone better. He quickly summed up my abilities (or lack thereof) and put me on a course for improvement. Dave's style of teaching was fun and unintimidating. In addition, Dave is extremely patient and sincere. I'm looking forward to the next lessons.

Learning to play the trumpet is a rewarding experience. Many people think you need to be big and tough to play the trumpet. But it's quite the opposite - it is an instrument requiring precision coordination between the embochure (lips) and the fingers. It's more akin to precision surgury than an athletic competition.

I will help the student develop a good foundation to play the trumpet well. Everyone wants to play loud and high but developing a good sound is crucial before attempting advanced techniques. I will help the student make sure they are developing and progressing in the right direction.

About Sean

We are a husband and wife piano teaching team that enjoy seeing children grow as they expand their musical skill set. We are firm believers of learning the fundamentals. We teach all ages and levels, and want our students to be having fun! And if your piano needs a tuning, we do that too! It

"Both my boys took lessons with Jordan over the summer (sax and trumpet) and they loved it! They both talked about him all week leading up to the next lesson and what they were going to learn next. So far they have both flourished in their band classes this school year! I can't say enough, he's a great teacher!"

"Bit of a first month update. Jeremy is better than expected (and this was a good expectation based on my son's first lesson). I played piano and yet I find none of that knowledge seems to lend itself to trumpet, plus I have no ear for the trumpet. David (my son) can hear himself with a bad buzz but it all sounds the same to me. But back to Jeremy, even though David has been playing Trumpet for a little over a year I had no idea how many basics he was never taught! And Jeremy picked right up on where his knowledge is lacking and they are already rocking through basics I thought David would have learned in Band or at least in Brass/Percussion class. So just really thrilled (both my and my son) that Jeremy quickly saw where David's knowledge was lacking and is already improving his confidence and ability in such a short time."

"My jazz instructor in High School led me to Bobby three years ago. He taught me a lot of things about playing the trumpet and greatly increased my ability as a trumpet player. He is very, and inspired me to want to get better at playing through encouragement and his high quality playing. Every lesson is very personal and fun. I know that sounds cheesy, but I looked forward to every lesson I had with Bobby. Bobby is a very skilled player, and unlike many great players, he can teach just as well as he can play. Bobby and I also spent a lot of time talking about Jazz theory. I am now fairly knowledgeable about theory, one of the best in my school, and I learned it all from Bobby. If you take lessons with Bobby your trumpet skills will vastly improve, and if you want to learn jazz, Bobby teaches jazz theory as well as he teaches trumpet, if not better. The last thing I have to say is something that Bobby told me at our very first lesson, "we will both learn from each other, you will learn trumpet and jazz skills, and I will learn how to effectively teach you." Every lesson with Bobby is extremely personal, and he is constantly improving his already great teaching skills."
