The chromatic harmonica was my first instrument which I taught myself by ear at the age of 5. It's perfect for playing melodies. I can play "blues harp" as well which is also a lot of fun and has a different kind of expressive feel with the bending. Whichever one you're interested in learning, I can help you hit the ground running with one of the most portable and enjoyable instruments out there! It's all about the feeling and the fun of it!
About Mark V
Mark V has been “Specializing In Melody” since the age of 5 when he discovered his natural ability to play and create catchy tunes by teaching himself the harmonica by ear. He went on to learn the accordion at 10, the piano at 12, MIDI and synthesizers at 15, the guitar at 30, and a long list of o

Hi, my name is Andy. I've been teaching music professionally for the past 15 years. In that time, I've worked with students of almost every conceivable age and ability level on a wide variety of instruments (ukulele, guitar, bass guitar, banjo, harmonica, piano) and am here to help make your musical dreams come true.
I customize my lessons to the needs/learning style of each individual student with a focus on technique, music theory, and songwriting. With all that in mind, I'd love to hear about your musical goals and figure out the best path to get you there.

His flexible teaching style was responsive to my musical growth and interests. As we went, Andy sprinkled in some easy to understand music theory. I learned a lot of my favorite songs (including several out of the mainstream). He worked with me to adapt songs written for guitar to banjo. He also helped me to pick quality instruments that were right for me and my budget.
Highly recommend!

I loved and learned more than I could imagine!"

Now we can get to why this is. I am a teacher but definitely not a music teacher. However no matter what you teach there must be a defined plan with structure. Ronnie takes this to heart and provides authentic instruction with passion. The amount of video and photo examples on his bio are unparalleled, it gave me confidence in choosing him. I got see his character and enthusiasm with instruction.
I've never played Harmonica before and Ronnie laid out the foundation that I needed, in easily digestible steps, to become a skilled player on a simple looking yet complex instrument. He has provided guidance on harps to purchase, reference materials, practice schedule and artists to check out. Even with this being an online course he has been extremely attentive to what I'm doing and makes sure that I get all the technical aspects correct. Ronnie checked for my understanding on the concepts and clarified anything I was not clear on. He has been beyond what I expected from an instructor and he has made himself available for questions even outside of my lesson time. It is rare to find an instructor in any field with this passion and customer service. Thank you."
