As a vocal coach, I work with students of all ages. The repertoire that I recommend to beginner students includes Disney, Broadway and classical music. For intermediate and advanced vocal student, I have successfully prepared them for competitions, Broadway and University auditions as well as personal enjoyment.

About Paul
Paul M is an American born, New York-based Piano teacher, Vocal coach, Pianist, Composer and Artist. As an educator, Paul is part of The Suffolk Piano Teachers Forum, College Music Society and Music Teachers National. He has been an Adjunct-instructor at New York University (NYU). Paul also conducts master classes and seminars in The United states and South America. For the past few years, he has implemented classes in composition and music history in the coastal area of Ecuador and New York. His music studio in New York City is in high demand. He works with piano, composition and vocal performance students of all levels and styles, which include classical, jazz, blues, Tango, and Broadway. Paul also works with all different types of students such as those who want to learn for personal enjoyment or for professional reasons. He prepares h
is students for competitions, audition preparation and professional concerts. Each year his students have the opportunity to perform at the world-renowned Steinway Hall in New York City. As a Pianist, In 2006 Paul was a prizewinner at the Music Club of Douglaston Piano Competition. For two consecutive years, Paul was awarded The Suffolk County Piano Forum Prize. XLNT Music recently wrote, “Paul is a fine pianist that performs with superb pianism and great sensitivity.”
 His recent public performances include Ecuador South America, Steinway Hall NYC, The United Nations, Faust Harrison Hall, Saint Peters NYC and The Staller Center. Paul has performed with The Stony Brook Symphony Orchestra and The New York University Symphony Orchestra. He has studied with well-known piano teachers including: Martin Canin, Morey Ritt, Tina Dahl, and Anita Gelber. In 2011 he released a record consisting of his performance of original compositions for solo piano that is available in bookstores and on iTunes.
As a composer Paul has composed music for the feature film Documentary Between the Shades, directed by Jill Salvino and premiered at the Soho International Film Festival in 2017. In 2014, Paul was the composer for the radio show Ackerman Associates Meets Dracula written and directed by Peter Stass. In 2014 he wrote the score for, Lies People Tell, a short film that premiered at the san pedro film festival. In 2011, he released his first solo record Succession of images, a song cycle for solo piano. In 2017, he released his second record Hope, a chamber music work recorded with clarinetist Thomas Piercy and Violinist Patrisa Tomassini. Recent public piano performances of his music include Ecuador in South America, Steinway Hall NYC, The United Nations, Spectrum NYC, Faust Harrison Hall, Saint Peters in NYC and The Staller Center in Stony Brook NY.

As an artist, Paul is known for creating large instillations, paintings and live performing art pieces. From 2014-2016, he was the artist in residence at Spectrum Gallery in NYC. In 2014, he completed the Elevator Time Machine, a large instillation made of elevator parts that responds to sound. He also wrote and produced a 20 minute live art piece called Static in Movement for piano and video. His acrylic on canvas works have also been presented at Spectrum NYC, The Art Bar, The Gallery at Logos and Ward-Nasse gallery.

While working with intermediate to advanced students, I have had coached them to apply and get accepted into some of the top Universities and Conservatories in the country. My students, beginner intermediate and advanced levels, have been awarded for their performances and activities in schools and competitions.
I am also a composition teacher. I work with composition students from beginner to advance. My composition students, over the years, range from all ages starting at 7. My students, after the first year, have been able to write string quartets and piano trios. My advanced students have entered competitions all over the country and are very successful in their composition practice. Some of their compositions have been performed in famous concert halls and schools.
As a vocal coach, I work with students of all ages. The repertoire that I recommend to beginner students includes Disney, Broadway and classical music. For intermediate and advanced vocal student, I have successfully prepared them for competitions, Broadway and University auditions as well as personal enjoyment.
Most recently I held a piano, composition and vocal recital for my students at the world famous Steinway Hall in New York City. I believe that some students work better when there is motivation for performance activities. For that reason I host these type of events. Students that decide they want to take place in these events perform among all levels. I offer these performance opportunities as an invitation. Each student has a choice as to whether they would like to perform.

I have been teaching private lessons for over a decade, and have my B.M. in Music Education from William Paterson University. I was a voice major and flute/piano double minor, and I just completed my Masters of Music in Performance with the Opera Institute at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University.

"There are two basic levels that every singer must address. The first one is addressing the condition of the body and voice and the second one is addressing the functioning of the voice and body."

I - Silent Foundation

The silent foundation refers to the condition of your instrument as it is silent. If we are looking at the body as an instrument that sings, we first have to make sure that our instrument is in good condition. How healthy is your instrument? Is it well rested, well hydrated and loose? Or is it tired, dehydrated and tense? As you could guess, the condition of your instrument will have a significant impact on the quality of the sounds you make. So the first thing to be addressed is how your instrument is before it starts making sound.

II - Conditioning of Singing Behaviors

This is when we get busy. Once we have a well rested, healthy, hydrated and relaxed instrument we can start working it out. The goal is to condition our singing behaviors to be reflexive, reliable and strong. The way to do this is through a series of vocal exercises that will condition your voice to respond to the desires of your heart. Whatever it is that you want to express will be possible once your instrument is conditioned to the point where there is no gap between what you want to express and your ability to do so. Learning to sing is all about learning how to express yourself without barriers. You should be able to develop enough range, power, control and skill so that you can express your heart without feeling like you'™re incapable of achieving what you pursue. To achieve these abilities training is often necessary.

My life revolves around music in all of its forms. I have studied piano since the age of 6 while singing ever since I knew how to make sound. Throughout my lifetime, I have been taught by some of the most influential teachers, and it is my goal to become one in your lifetime.

I began participating in theater at an early age. Once In high school, I had my first job as a Drama Teacher at Saltworks Young Actors Studio where I taught Improvisation, Monologues and Musical Theater to students ages 6 through 16.

I went to Point Park University where I received a BA in Musical Theater in 2006. Throughout College, I was also teaching voice and piano lessons.

As an actor, I have enjoyed many successes. In 2007, I joined the NY Public Theater’s three night, 40th anniversary concert of HAIR at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park.
The following summer, I was a member of the cast in a full mounted production in their 2008 Shakespeare in the Park season. Shortly after the production transferred to Broadway, the cast performed at the 2009 Tony Awards and took home the Tony for Best Revival.

During the run of Hair, I was entered into the Broadway Beauty Pageant, where male cast members from different Broadway shows compete to win the title of "Mr. Broadway". After competing in Talent and Interview; I was crowned Mr. Broadway 2009.

In 2010, I journeyed across the Atlantic with the production to perform HAIR in London’s West End. It was such a joy to have the influence of UK culture and experience the best of their Music and Theater in my time living in London.

Since moving back to America, I began teaching full time and have been a first hand witness to all of my students growing and flourishing throughout their process. It makes me so proud of them!!

I believe music has the power to be the most fun thing in the world, while at the same time, the most challenging thing. No matter what age, it's never to early or late to open your heart and mind to its fullest potential.

I have an Upright Piano in my living room with plenty of seating for parents/guardians. I also have a spare room and patio in case one would like some privacy to work or read.

*** Travel Equipment ***
I expect my student to have a Piano or a full electronic keyboard for proper Piano or Voice lessons, and a Trumpet or French Horn for those lessons respectively.

I am a very earnest, physical, character actor with a great sense of comedic timing. I live for anything theatrical and I hope that I can share all the joys it brings me with you.

I have a vast singing range from bass’ low D, high A belt, to a B6 in my falsetto. I have shaped my voice through almost a dozen voice teachers since the time my voice changed from boy to young man and now I feel confident to sing in styles from Traditional and Contemporary Broadway, to Pop and Rock. I hope that I can help you gain the confidence and strength to conquer multiple styles.

I have been playing the Trumpet, French Horn and Piano since grade school. From Honors bands to Marching bands, the excitement from a band is tap-your-foot contagious!

I'm a musician, performer and teacher from Wisconsin, based in New York, who studies voice at Queens College. Have taken coachings for years in voice acting/voice over work. I've studied many different acting and singing styles with a number of notable stage directors, conductors, and other performers. I perform regularly around the Queens and Brooklyn area.

I have been singing since i was 5 years old starting in church with cherub choir and christmas plays and then moving on to school musicals and summer theatre. Though my training is in classical voice/opera, I have a huge love and background of Musical Theatre. I also am very up to date with the music and personally enjoy indie rock/ electro-pop/ indie-pop. I love learning and teaching new styles of singing and firmly believe that classical technique can pave the way to all types of performing from rock to jazz to gospel and even rap. I love having fun with my students and laughing but know how to keep on task and get things rolling.

Corinne was a wonderful teacher! She was very professional and structured her lessons with clarity and rigor. She gave me detailed feedback and the vocal exercises she recommended were always helpful and tailored to the areas in which I needed to improve. If I didn't get something immediately, she wouldn't give up but lead me through a series of exercises until my vocal tone was satisfactory. No matter how busy or tired she was, she would conduct each lesson with the same amount of attention and energy. She's friendly and understanding, great to talk to and easy to get along with. I definitely recommend her as a teacher!

Corinne is an excellent teacher! I have had the pleasure of watching her teach at NYU when she was obtaining her degree in vocal pedagogy. While observing her lesson, I found her to be thorough and compassionate. She is a great communicator and makes sure the student understands all that is asked of them. I have been studying Broadway singers for years. I have been a Musical Theatre performer for years and I am still studying singing, acting and dancing. I am trained as a jazz vocalist, as a recent graduate from The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music. I focus on vocal health, and finding a repertoire that fits the student's voice. Voice lessons are focused around creating a personalized warm-up and vocal exercise regimen, mixed with ear training and music theory. We then spend the rest of the lesson working on music of the student's choice. I also love teaching students how to improvise if they are interested, and I can also teach songwriting.
I have been teaching for several years now, specializing in beginner students with an interest in jazz, as well as students who want to write and perform their own music.

I received my BFA in musical theatre. I have performed in musicals off-broadway and in professional regional theaters all over the east coast! With my level of expertise, I can help you feel confident on songs from any Broadway show!

We will first discuss the three pillars of singing: Alignment, breath, and relaxation. We will work on vocal technique through simple exercises. I have exercises for people of all vocal ranges, types and levels. I can help you with any style of singing!

Then, together we will select a song that's perfect for you from my vast sheet music library. I'll accompany you on the piano, and you will leave the lesson feeling confident and accomplished! Can't wait to get started.

Meghan is truly a fantastic and patient instructor. As she is someone with much understanding and experience, she was more than equipped to read my abilities and gauge what was needed to be fixed/improved upon. Its easy to tell she loves teaching as much as I love performing. Recommend her any day!

She helped me pick the perfect audition song, and taught me exactly how to have a really good singing audition. I didn't feel as nervous for the audition, I would definitely work with her again.

I am a classically trained pianist and vocalist with an extensive background in performing musical theatre and teaching it! I have a bachelors degree in theatre arts and speech communications alongside credentials in the public relations aspect of promoting musicianship. Adjunst Lecturer at the CUNY, I'm active within the arts community honing, sharpening, and perfecting the beautiful instrument we call our voice. Organically, I love to teach starting with breathing techniques as we build a solid foundation for immense vocal growth and strength.

I am a classically trained pianist, vocalist, and intermediate modern dancer. My entire life is engulfed in the arts as my family is filled with dancers, singers, entertainers, host etc.. Art is and always has been my life.

I graduated from one of the many City Universities in New York at 22 and have been teaching there ever since as an Adjunct Lecturer, specializing in drama history, speech and poetry. I am a true believer in enlightening myself on how things work in the arts to capitalize on the past and create an even better future.

I specialize in sharpening and enhancing vocal breaks and range of extensions. As well as coaching my clients to over come performance anxiety with breathing techniques also used to add resonance and power to their voice.
