Classical Piano Lessons in Wesco. Amazing Teachers.

Experienced Piano teacher since 2012: I am available to teach eager students of all experience levels and ages! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation in their piano skills. I specialize in classical, gentle, and theatrical music. I typically use the Faber Piano Adventures series for beginning and some intermediate students, however I will choose a curriculum that fits the student. I supplement the series with works by classical composers or music theme songs from TV shows, Disney movies, or Broadway shows. I also have the following tools available to use during lessons: pianos, sheet music, and more.

Virtual piano lessons with an experienced, trained teacher! I use an interactive piano method that combines a lesson book with corresponding online materials, downloadable PDFs and mp3 accompaniments. Every lesson is about the student and I meet them where they are at and go from there. Every lesson counts and includes creativity (style and composition), thought (music theory) and context (music history). Although I specialize in children, ages 6-12, and in classical training and church worship music, I am always able to accommodate a special project piece of your student's interest. Classical music is art music produced or rooted in the traditions of Western music. I teach music from the great classical composers such as: Antonio Vivaldi, Bach, Handel, Mozart, Beethoven and others.

I’ve been working as a Music Instructor since High School and can honestly say I can’t think of anything else that would bring me such joy every day. I love working with students of all ages and abilities and get so much satisfaction from seeing how they grow and develop in their skills and performance. My expertise is in flute and piano performance. I started the piano at the age of 5 and continued on to add flute in middle school. I continued to play both flute and piano all through college. I have been playing piano for over 10 years and teaching piano for over 3 years. I enjoy teaching everyone from beginners to early advanced players. All my classes start with a strong foundation of technique that can be applied to whatever genres of music you choose to play, from classical to pop to movie scores, musical theater and Disney songs. You will learn a lot and have fun doing so!
